Red's pov
I ran after the boy as fast as I could. I have to apologise. I can't let him think I hate him!
He was running through a unfermillier place. He's probably not even aware of where he's going. He just wants to get away from me.
"blue!" I yelled as he reached a creaky looking bridge.
He turned around in shock "leave me alone!" he yelled.
"you know I can't do that" I tried to step on the bridge only for the board to collapse under me "blue you have to get off that bridge!"
"why should I listen to you" he yelled with tears in his eyes "you abandoned me all those years ago. No matter how hard I try it's never enough. It's like you hate me!"
"I don't hate you" I tried to reason with him "I'm sorry I yelled at you ok. I'm sorry I abandoned you. I was just scared-"
"scared? Scared of what!?" he demanded.
"I was scared of people!" I yelled out all at once "a fear that gripped me so hard that I could hardly breathe. That's why I had to get away. I knew if I stayed here I would died!"
He stared at me in disbelief and then asked "why didn't you tell me about this?"
It was a simple question but it left me lost for words "I didn't want to drag you into my problems" I finally managed to say.
"you dummy" his insult caught me a little off gaurd.
"huh"
"your problems are my problems and vice versa. We're friends aren't we?"
"y-yeah" I nodded with tears in my eyes. Well at least it's all over-
My thoughts were cut off by blue falling through a floorboard..
