Blues pov

"wow that was awesome!" the once brooding kid was now jumping around excitedly. Who can blame him after seeing my awesome skill!

"first a blastoise blew those guards away. Then we flew away on a giant freaking bird and then when things looked dire your Mimichu ate the guards"

"I had no idea he was so hardcore" I scratched Mimichu behind the ears.

The kid quickly gained his composer "you're not from around here, are you old man"

"no. I'm just here for vaca. And quit calling me old man. I'm only nineteen!"

He giggled softly "I'm Gideon"

I placed my hands on my hips "nice to meet you kid. I'm blue"

"blue? That's an odd name" he muttered.

I felt my cheeks heat up "hey give me a break kid. My mom picked that name cause my eyes were as blue as the sky. Lame I know"

Gideon nodded "my mom named me after an angel. It doesn't get any lamer then that"

"named after an angel and yet you act the exact opposite. It's poetic really" Gideon responded by throwing leaves in my face.

Null bumped his head against Gideons arm. He patted his head with a sad smile "I kinda miss the way mom used to be. It doesn't even feel like we're a family anymore"

I looked at the kid with pity before sighing "alright tell you what. I'll take your mom down and make her act like the parent you deserve"

"you think you can do that?" he asked.

"kid I've been taking down criminal organisations since I was ten" red did most of the work but still! "this will be a piece of cake"

"Well I certainly believe in your skills" he muttered thoughtfully before grinning "ok let's do this together!"
