Taehyun, a 17 year old boy with incredible beauty, is set to marry a rich woman with a cocky brother in America.
The date is April 12th, 1912.
He is sailing on the Titanic.
And he meets a complete opposite to him who may actually guide him to true love and happiness.

The Titanic AU no one asked for but I wanna write it. And it's the longest oneshot I ever wrote.

'Titanic' was called... a ship of dreams. And it was... it really was.

If any random person would see Taehyun Kang, they'd wonder: someone as beautiful and rich as him would have it good, right?

That's what many commoners believe when they see the rich folk in their lavishing clothes and expensive furniture. After all, they were like royalty to them, and looked so fine.

But for a lot of people, Taehyun included, that wasn't the case.

Taehyun, a 17 year old boy, was set to marry a woman he does not love. She lived across the Atlantic, in America. Her brother, who goes by the name of Chansol Lee, came back to England to find a suitable husband for her.

And when his eyes fell on the local seamstress' son, he knew he found the right one for his sister.

After talking with the seamstress, Miyu Kang, and showing her everything he and his wealthy family name could give them, she agreed to let her son marry his sister.

That did not mean that Taehyun was pleased with this at all. He didn't want to marry someone for money; he wanted to marry for love.

But no, now he found himself sitting in the carriage, being driven towards the ship that will take him into a new life, the 'Titanic'.

He has heard of this enormous steam vessel; it was all the buzz in town. Seeing it only made him want to throw up. Not because he found the ship ugly, it was actually quite appealing, but because he knew what was going to happen once he boarded it.

Miyu glanced at him.

"Be a good boy, and remember your manners."

"Yes Mother."

Taehyun also knew another reason as to why his mother agreed to the arranged marriage: to stop him from following his so-called 'foolish love interest'. Taehyun was a homosexual, and during his time, that was an absolute no-go. He knew very well that his mother couldn't wait to have found a woman he must marry with no way out.

Part of the reasons why he despised his mother. Not hated, because she gave birth to him after all, but despised.

A silent sigh escaped his cherry red lips.

What can possibly happen on that ship? Nothing will change my fate anymore. I'm trapped.

Close to the port, not too far away from where the Titanic was docked, was a popular saloon. Plenty of men, mostly commoners, spent their hours drinking some good Brandy or whiskey and gambling or playing joker.

It so happens that there were two Swedish folks gambling their tickets for the exact steam vessel nearby against two other men, Soobin Choi and Yeonjun Choi.

"You're betting all of our money on this card game?" Yeonjun asked in disbelief.

Soobin smuggly nodded.

"When you got nothing, you got nothing to lose," he stated.

The two Swedish men placed their cards. Yeonjun looked at his cards, and nervously placed them down. Soobin looked at theirs and then at his cards, and he sighed.
