Lights. Camera. Action.

The camera switched on, the live broadcast began, and the lights shone directly on the stage.

The two hosts were sitting on their couch, and smiled at the camera.

"Hello viewers of 'What's on Hwang?' I'm your host Yeji," the red haired girl began.

"And your host Hyunjin," a black haired boy ended.

The two siblings made a heart together with their hands, and listened to the claps of their staff.

"Today, we will have a special guest coming on our show. He is very well known for having one of the best debut novels ever, and also for being an ex-professional dancer," Yeji continued.

"Not to mention, he is also extremely handsome," Hyunjin said.

"Oh stop your gay ass on camera. Anyways, welcoming with open arms and happiness, bestselling author Choi Yeonjun!"

The camera panned backwards to a tall, black wavy haired man, dressed in jeans, a blue button up and combat boots, walking from the door to the center of the show room.

He flashed a smile at the camera, waving at the people behind the screens. His fans cheered for him at home, at school, in the car, or wherever they were watching this broadcast.

Yeonjun sat down on the couch opposite to the Hwang siblings, sitting with one leg crossed over the other.

"Welcome to our show, Mr Choi; we're happy to have you here tonight," Yeji greeted.

"It's a pleasure to come here. Two years ago I would never have thought I'd come on my favorite late night show."

Hyunjin beamed.

"Good to know we're the favorites!"

Yeonjun laughed at the joke.

"You debuted just a month ago on March 4th, and your novel Gone Too Soon has already sold a million copies worldwide. For a rookie author, that is so impressive and amazing!" Yeji said.

"I know. I would never have thought that either," Yeonjun replied.

"A book like this deserves all the sales and success. I read the book myself, and this is the first time I cried reading," Hyunjin remarked.

"Oh really?" the author laughed, embarrassed.

"I read it as well, and I am truly amazed at how well you captured the feelings of Daniel when, spoiler alert folks, Steve dies. It felt like you could hear his agonizing screams and cries, see his torn apart face, and feel all the emotions. The story itself is also so incredibly realistic to the world of homosexuality; props to you!" Yeji praised.

Yeonjun nodded with a smile, a pang hitting his chest as she talked about his work like that.

"Tell us, Mr Choi, what is your secret to writing such an incredible story?" Hyunjin questioned.

"Well... experience and observation helps best in it."

Hyunjin and Yeji perked a brow.

This was definitely a scoop of tea, but even more, a scoop of history.
