Hello to everyone reading this!
It's been a little while since my last update, which I think I have a pretty good reason for.
To keep things to the point I've decided to put a short hiatus on Rise of Venus. Don't worry! It's just until April, and I will be working on it the whole time I'm not updating here.
I went back to my fist chapter early September and gave it a read through, where I found the reason I was falling out of love with Rise of Venus was because the writing was far from my usual style. It felt more rushed and looked like I had a terrible time while writing it, which to be fair was mostly true. And then I realised editing what I had to make it feel more like me would have been much harder than just scraping it and rewriting.
I took my time away making sure Venus and Cymbeline were stronger characters and making sure I had an actual plot to follow. It's currently sitting around 8000 barely edited words and I plan to have it be around 50000 mostly edited words come my return in April.
Thank you so much for sticking around and putting up with my nonsense of a posting schedule so far.
