When you meet someone as lovely as her,
You wouldn't expect it to end like happily ever after.
You don't expect her to send you love letters,
And try to hold your hand everytime you're near.
You don't expect her to pull you closer,
Then make you feel better.
But somehow, you still do, you hope for it to all happen to you.
You'd always tell yourself that things will never be the way they seem,
Which turned out to be right.
It was more of an issue of pride,
That you were exceedingly snobbish when you felt that,
You've been right from the start,
And that everyone else was blinded to the possibilities of being it as true love.
But when she came unplanned,
You kept yourself very valid. You tell yourself,
It's nothing more than a friendship,
Atleast, that's what you thought it was.
It seems impossible, yet not at the same time,
But you promised that you wouldn't let yourself get attached.
Though, it'll be challenging considering you already fell hard.
