In the mirror’s reflection, not everything is true,
For truth could only be found inside of you;
Not defined by others’ views,
Nor by life's cruelty and blues,
But by the one who truly knows you, you.
So why seek your value in a stranger’s eyes,
When in your own, not exist one disguise?
Beneath the mask you wear each day,
Lies strength and beauty, just hidden away.
For in your eyes, the love that you seek,
The happiness that you speak.
Is all in your soul, the one who's in control,
You, the one who loves in whole.
So don't look far, just look beyond what’s inside,
The truth and love within your eyes.
Let yourself be your own guiding star,
For who you are is enough by far.
