"Merry Christmas" came a yell from the bottom of the stairs. Billy awoke, rubbing his eyes and stretching his arms. "Steve wake up." he yawned, shaking the sleeping boy slightly. "What?" he groaned, leaning in for a morning kiss. "Morning, your mum was shouting." replied Billy once their lips had parted. "Oh, I'll head downstairs then. Want me to bring you some breakfast up?" he asked, as he climbed out of bed. Billy smiled and nodded. "Steve. You might want to put some clothes on." Billy said as he threw some jeans at Steve. He looked down at himself to see he wasn't wearing anything other than a pair of Billy's boxers. A flush of pink rushed through his face. Quickly, he pulled on the pair of trousers Billy had thrown at him and headed downstairs.
"Morning mum. Merry Christmas" Steve announced as he entered the kitchen to the smell of turkey cooking in the oven. "Merry Christmas Steve." She responded, giving Steve a big hug. "Is Billy not coming down?" She said as she went back to peeling the carrots. "No I said I'd take it up for him. Then I think he's going home to get changed before dinner." Steve said as he grabbed some bread out the cupboard and put it in the toaster. "Okay and his mum, dad and sister are definitely coming, I don't want to cook too much food." The toast pinged up and Steve placed it on a plate and began to spread strawberry jam onto the slices. "Yes they're definitely coming and it's his stepmum and stepsister. Bye."
Steve headed back upstairs to his room to find Billy gazing out the window. He closed the door behind him and walked over to join him. As he pulled back the curtain he saw that the ground had been covered in a white blanket for as far as the eye could see. They stood staring out the window, mouths wide open. "It's beautiful" Billy breathed. "Wanna go build a snowman?" Steve said turning to face Billy. "Oh my god yes. I've never made a snowman before." Squealed Billy. "What! How have you never made a snowman?" Steve raised a eyebrow at the news. "Can we make it after dinner? Then I can get some warmer clothes at home." Billy asked as he snaked his arms around Steve's waist. "Of course." Steve nodded resting his head on Billy's shoulder.
They stood cuddling and watching the snow fall until Billy announced "I'd better start heading home." He let go of Steve and headed down the stairs, put his Adidas trainers on and walked out the house. "Bye see you later." He waved. "Bye see you soon." Steve replied, closing the door as Billy zoomed off down the road.

"Steve come help set the table." Yelled Mrs Harrington up the stairs. Steve took off his headphones and plodded down the stairs. He walked through the living room and into the dining room where he saw the cutlery had been placed on the cabinet at the side. He began to lay them out on the table when his mum walked in. "What on God's green Earth are you wearing." She shrieked. "What? It's like what they guy wears in that new movie. You know the one where he gets sucked through his bed?" Steve replied. "No I don't know what you mean. Now go get changed we've got guests on their way!" His mum snapped back. Steve rolled his eyes and headed back upstairs. He searched through his wardrobe and found a stripped, button up shirt and a pare of grey trousers. Just as he finished fastening up the top button the door bell rang.
By the time he had reached the stairs the door was already open and his parents where greeting their guests. "Thank you for coming Susan." "Oh no thank you for inviting us." "Ahh Neil it's good to see you again." "Ay it's good to see you too." Through all the hustle and bustle, Steve could make out the top of Billy's head. The sound of footsteps coming down the stairs made everyone turn their gaze to see Steve walking down them. A smile spread across Billy's face as he watched Steve elegantly glide across the floor. "That's much better than before Steve. Shall we head into the dining room?" Everyone nodded and followed. "What where you wearing before?" whispered Billy. "Literally the same thing I was wearing when you left." He rolled his eyes. They both chuckled as they sat down in their seats. They sat across from eachother and the short width of the table ment their legs intertwined underneath.
The sweet smell of carrots and mashed potato filled the room. Mountings of peas and roast potatoes filled the table. "I'll go fetch the turkey from the kitchen. Help yourself to some vegetables." With that everyone grabbed a fork and a spoon and began shoveling broccoli, carrots, peas and sweetcorn, sprouts, potatoes and cauliflower onto their plates. Then Mrs Harrington walked through the door with a tremendous turkey. Everyone's mouths dropped and their eyes where bulging from the sockets. "Okay who wants some?" She asked. Everyone immediately passes their plates over to be filled with delicious turkey. The plates where stacked with mountains of food.
After they had finsihed eating Steve took Billy up to his room and closed the door behind them. He pushed him against the door and tucked his long, scraggly locks behind his ear. His firm hand gripped Billy's jaw, pulling their faces closer, while Billy's hands where placed gentle on Steve's hips, moving their bodies closer. Their chests pressed against one an other firmly so they could feel each others heartbeats thumping loudly. Steve tilted his head slightly as he moved closer until his warm breath could be felt on Billy's face. Their warm, moist lips smashed against eachother. The slight opening between Steve lips invited Billy's tongue in to mangle with his own. Billy's hand worked it's way up Steve's back and began tugging at his hair. Eventually, their lips parted and they layed down on Steve's double bed.
Billy pulled out a little package out of his back pocket. It was wrapped badly in festive wrapping paper and had a shinny, red bow stuck onto of it. "I got you a present." He said passing it to Steve. "I thought we said no presents though?" He replied, reluctantly taking the gift. "I know but I ignored you and this is a very necessary gift." He reassured. Steve side eyed Billy while furrowing his brows. Then he ripped the paper off to reveal a small key with a keyring attached saying 'Billy's house'. "It's so you can come at 5 in the morning and won't have to wake everyone up." Billy grinned. "Thank you." Steve replied with a giggle, giving Billy a hug. "BILLY WHERE ARE YOU? WERE GOING HOME!" Max's yell could be heard coming up the corredor. "I've got to go but I'll see you at that new year's eve party. Do you still want picking up?" He said standing up and walking over to the door. "Yeah thanks. See you later." Steve walked Billy downstairs and he waved the family off as they went and got into a small car at the end of the drive.
