Dusk rolled around as the owner returned for Nydore to pay for a room in the village inn. Xayvion kept his distance, gazing outside admiring the twilight. Almost made him feel homesick. Nydore approached them, tapping him on the shoulder to get his attention.
“Come on,” Nydore pointed upstairs. “We have a room.”
“In a minute,” Xayvion requested. “I am enjoying the twilight.”
“You Twili are strange,” Nydore scoffed. “We have all the time in the world to see the twilight again. Let’s move it.”
“...Very well,” Xayvion frowned. “We can go.”
“Finally,” Nydore said in an exasperated tone. “About damn time.”
    “Can you please refrain from-”
    “Oh leave me alone.”
The two of them walked over to the stairs and proceeded to go up to their room. As they headed upstairs to their room, Xayvion halted, looking down with a look of concern and pented anger. Nydore stopped a little ahead, glaring at Xayvion from behind.
“Hey,” Nydore said with a tone. “What the hell are you waiting on? Let’s go.”
    “...,” Xayvion sighed. “Coming...”
Xayvion entered the room behind Nydore, having Nydore slam it behind him causing Xayvion to jolt. Nydore gave out a ‘humph’ before locking the door. Xayvion glanced at the single bed in the room with a twinge of panic. He told Nydore to get a room with two beds, however he felt the Hylian had other plans. He did not want to jump to any conclusions however it was hard not to point to one single option.
The option being one he did not feel comfortable with.
“Lovely room...,” Xayvion said as he tried to keep his composure. “I...wonder if they have good business to keep it refurbished.”
“Now now,” Nydore grabbed Xayvion from behind, almost like a hug, with a flirty grin. “Let’s not think about others right now. We are here for ourselves.”
    “Right...”
“Now why not just relax?” Nydore said softly. “You have been so tense today,” he caressed Xayvion’s arms as he kept speaking. “Hmm,” he purred. “You seem more manly tonight, I like it.”
    “Can you please not-”
“Shh, now don’t ruin the moment.”
Xayvion glanced back at the single bed. It was not very big and made Xayvion realise he and Nydore were not on the same page. Xayvion was not very comfortable with Nydore at this time, nor was he ever comfortable enough to rest in the same bed.
“Uhmm...Nydore?” Xayvion mumbled. “There seems to only be...one bed.”
“And?” Nydore questioned. “What is wrong with that?”
“Uhm...I do not feel-,” Xayvion moved Nydore’s hands off his body before turning around to face him. “I just...,” he approached the bed. “I would have been more comfortable having my own-”
“You’re not going to tell me that you are ‘not ready’ for this, are you?”
“R-Ready...?” Xayvion asked. “Ready for what? I do not understand.”
“You know what I mean,” Nydore’s tone became flirtatious yet disturbing. “I feel you and I have become rather, what’s the word, tense around each other,” he pulled Xayvion by the hip, bringing him closer. “I felt it would be a good idea to try and fix that.”
“Nydore...,” Xayvion became more uncomfortable. “I do not think we can ‘fix’ this,” Xayvion pushed Nydore away from him. “I think...I think we should-”
“Should what?” Nydore became hostile. “Be a depressing excuse that is forever alone?”
“What? No-I...I just think we don’t-...don’t work-”
“We do work,” Nydore grabbed Xayvion by his wrist. “Why did you choose such a lovely night to grow a spine? Last I remember you were nothing without me!”
    “Y-You’re hurting me...”
“You think you can just leave me?!” Nydore shouted. “You would not be able to survive in this world without me! You are not even welcome in your own home! You are nothing! NOTHING!!” Nydore shoved Xayvion down onto the bed, climbing over him. “You are such a fucking idiot for thinking you could just leave me.”
“P-Please-!” Xayvion begged. “Let me go!”
“You are not going anywhere,” Nydone forced him down harder, clinging to Xayvion’s wrists making it difficult to move them. “I am going to make sure you never leave me,” Nydore removed Xayvion’s hood, showing his wavy orange hair and tear-ridden eyes. “Now don’t look at me like that,” Nydore combed his hand through Xayvion’s hair. “We can fix this. You are my boyfriend after all. I will make sure we fix this.”
“You...,” Xayvion growled. “You are nothing but a monster...”
“Oh come now,” Nydore said as he let go of one of Xayvion’s wrists to caress his face. “You just need to enjoy this like I am. You are being too sensitive like always,” he leaned in close. “Now just relax-”
“Get off of me!” Xayvion slapped Nydore across the face. “Let me go or I’ll--”
Nydore gripped Xayvion by his neck, not enough to choke him but enough to stun him from doing anything more.
“Feisty,”  Nydore grinned morbidly. “I like that. Now tell me what would you have even done? Run away? Scream? No one would even try to help one of you. Your kind are nothing but freaks that get ridiculed. You have no one but me, and this is how you repay that kindness?”
Xayvion felt petrified, every time he tried to utter a single word his voice would never come out. Internally he had a panic attack, his chest felt tight, his reality felt claustrophobic. He could feel his heart throb in his ears, Nydore’s words became muffled.
He only felt him and Nydore in the room, nothing more than prey to the predator that continued to caress him.
His hands started shaking as Nydore clenched harder on his neck to keep him from moving.
There was no escape.
“Soon enough you will understand why I am doing this,” Nydore sneered. “Now just relax.”
Xayvion could not give out a single sound as he shuddered in shock. He felt even more petrified as Nydore kept touching him inappropriately. Xayvion felt helpless throughout the night, wishing he had the courage to run then and there, but he could only lie there, shocked and confused.
The whole night felt like a horrible nightmare that came to be a reality.
