Chapter 24: A New Mysterious Person, The Mastermind ?

Unknown Person's POV:

'Rugved, Vikramaditya and Aniket ? Yes, let them in.', I ordered my guards over the phone.

'Let's see what news they've brought. It's less than a day, now. Isn't it ?', I said to myself.

'Sir, may we come in ?', asked Aniket as he knocked at the door.

'Yes. You may.', I said in a strong and commanding voice.

They walked in and stood in front of me, only a table as a barrier between us.

'Any updates ?', I asked them sternly.

'Yes. She's planning a lot, rather she's planned a lot.', said Rugved.

I nodded my head and turned to Aniket and Vikramaditya.

'What about you two ? What news have you got ?', I enquired.

'Nothing much. Everything's pretty much the same as it was when we reported to you a few hours ago.', answered Vikramaditya.

'What about you ?', I questioned Aniket.

'The same as Vikram reported, Sawant saheb.', he responded.
(Saheb = sir)

'I hope the three of you aren't hiding any facts from me.', I said casually, but in an intimidating manner.

'No sir.', the brothers muttered softly.

'Rugved ? Although you're family, you're no exception, are you hiding something from me ?', I asked as I raised an eyebrow at him.

'Oh no. I'm totally on your side, why will I hide anything ? Even if I wish to keep something under wraps, is it possible to hide anything from you ? You have your bugs everywhere. You'll know everything, anyways.', Rugved said as he gave out a soft, evil laugh.

'I meant to ask whether you forgot to report something to me.', I snapped at him.

'I was coming to that. She's planning on getting to you. She thinks she did something great by fishing out an address from Vikramaditya. Doesn't know, that was part of the plan. The rest you know.', he said and smirked.

'And ? Anything more ?', I looked at him, menacingly.

'And, well she's basically flying in her own world right now. She thinks she's the mastermind of this game, which she's obviously not. You are the mastermind behind this whole game. I can't believe she thinks I've fallen for her plan. In fact, knowing Rukmini, I can't believe she's fallen for this whole plan. She thinks she's been 10 steps ahead of you. What she doesn't know is that she's been outpaced by you with a margin of more than a 100 steps.', Rugved said as Vikramaditya and Aniket nodded their heads.

'Okay, okay. Now go back home, the ceremonies will start in a while, won't they ? There's no need to let suspicion arise, but don't let your guard down either.', I instructed.

They nodded their heads.

'Listen, she shouldn't have any idea about me being here. She shouldn't know my whereabouts, and she shouldn't have any idea that I'm the mastermind behind this whole plan.', I continued in a stern voice.

'Yes sir.', the three of them responded and left the room.

'Tomorrow's the wedding and then it will finally be time to reveal everything.', I said to myself and laughed in an evil manner.
