Moulin Rouge was everything I hoped it would be and more. It is more spectacle than substance, but the spectacle part definitely makes up for it. It's incredibly fun and high energy with it's choreography, lighting, set design, and costumes. Speaking of set design, this show has one of the best set designs I've ever seen, the details are insane! The story was a little hard to follow, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The cast were of course amazing, I especially loved Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer as Satine and John Cardoza as Christian. The audience was a little annoying, with people singing along and laughing at inappropriate times, but overall alright. I would absolutely recommend and I'd love to see it again.
