Tonight was amazing! So I went in blind for the first time ever, and I do not regret it. It was certainly an interesting show to say the least. Had a super fun time and while it isn't my favorite musical, I really loved the show. Even though I knew there were gonna be gunshots I kept jumping each time lol. The ending was a little confusing, and the dream ballet scene went on for a little too long, but that's okay. Gwynne Wood was just perfection as Ado Annie, she was hilarious and super energetic. Sasha Hutchings as Laury was of course incredible, and I also thought Hannah Solow as Gertie Cummings and Hennessy Winkler as Will Parker were hilarious. The show itself was incredibly out of pocket lol 😭💀 especially Pore Jud Is Daid. I Cain't Say No, People Will Say We're In Love, and All Er' Nuthin were definitely my favorite songs.
