"Dre, who is this?" one asked.

"Guys, this is Chloe; she is back home." They all looked at André with disbelief.

"Est-ce vraiment elle?" Je pensais que maman l'avaitemmenée," - is this actually her thought mom took her away- one of them said.

"Maman est morte et ils m'onttrouvée, je suis son tuteur maintenant." - Mom died, and they found me; I'm her guardian now- André replied.

They all stood there like they saw a ghost. Now that I'm looking at them closer, I recognize one of them from the fighting community. His name is Louis. He is a good fighter, but sometimes sloppy. I have never fought him, only watched his fights. He has never lost. I wish I could change that.

"Well, Chloe, this is Jack; he is the second oldest; then we have Xander, the middle brother; then the twins, Louis and Luca; they are the youngest brothers."

They all waved at their names. I just nodded my head.

"Ok, Lou and Luc, please show Chloe around, then bring her to my office so I can explain the rules," he said quickly, then walked off.

I turned to the twins. They both had straight faces and no emotions. Cool, I can do that too.

They walked around the house, telling me about it. We got to the gym. "This is the gym. If you need one of us, we will probably be in here," Luca explained.

Louis was staring at me. I shot him a look, and he looked away.

We kept walking around, eventually getting into my room. When I walked in, it had a dark gray border, and overall, the colors were darker.

"We can re-paint it whatever colors you want," Louis said. I shook my head.

It had the same theme that I had dreamed of having in my room at home. It looked amazing. I sat my backpack on the bed and walked out to meet the boys.

They led me to a hall with the older boys names on each door. As we walk up to Andres's door, Luca knocks on it and opens it, soon closing the door after I walk in.

"How do you like the house petit."-Little one- he said, nodding my head.

"Ok, let's get on the rule; why don't you sit down?" He pointed to the chair, so I sat down. "Now the first rule is verbal responses. You have a voice; use it." shit, I know I can talk a lot, but I didn't want to say anything that could get me in trouble here. I guess I'm just going to have to deal with it.

"Okay,"  I didn't speak softly, but I didn't speak too loudly either.

"Awesome, now the next rule is if you want to leave, you need to tell someone." No.

"Why."

"Because you're new to the area, and I don't want you to get lost, and our business has a lot of people who don't like us, and I don't want you to get hurt." I looked at him, knowing he was talking about the mafia.

"Okay, next rule." He smiled, "No boys." what.

"Until when."

"Until I say." What are his rules? I know I'm going to break these.

"Next is your curfew, which is 9 on weekdays and 11 on weekends." great sneaking out it is.

"What if we push it back an hour or two?" I asked.

"What if no?" he smirked. This man is really pushing my buttons.

"The last one is no drinking or smoking." Well, that's already broken.

"What if I break these rules?" I started to play with my ring, scared of what he might say.

"You will get punished." shit I knew he was just like Dominic, of course.

"Okay, may I go now?" I said, standing up.

"One more thing: you can go shopping for clothes and stuff tomorrow, and you start school after the break." I forgot school existed; summer has felt so long. "You will go to school with Luc and Lou," he said one last time.

"Oh, and one question: is there a computer I could use?"

"Do you not have any electronics?" I shook my head.

"No, he said that electronics would rot your brain." I had to go to the library to use any electronics.

"Yeah, there is a computer in the library; we can get you a phone and laptop tomorrow too."

"Awesome, thank you." I walked out of the office, going towards the library.

When I got there, I went into a private browser and typed in 'underground fight clubs near me' and it came up. I knew about this club; it was the same club that Louis fights at. I guess it's good that I use a mask when I fight.

I cleared out the tabs and cleared the history going to my room; now it's time to plan how I'm going to sneak out.

I looked at my window; it was an easy one to open. I was on the second floor, but there was a little ledge under the window, so it would be easier to go down.

I looked in my bag. I got the clothes I had with me and put them in the walk-in closet.

I took the pills and fighting suit out and put them in my drawer in the back of the closet. Now I just have to get through dinner, sneak out, and not get caught.

Right on cue, there is a knock on the door. "Come in!" I yelled. The door opened, and Xander walked in.

"dinner."  He walked in as fast as he walked out.

I went down to the dining room and sat down, saying, "Good evening." I spoke to everyone at the table, and they all said something back at the same time.

A maid brought out plates for everyone and asked everyone what they wanted to drink, and then we all fell into our own conversations. Well, they all fell into their own conversations, but I stayed quiet, slowly eating the salad on my plate.

"So do we know our classes yet?" Luca asked, and I'm assuming he is the brains of the two.

"Yes, Luca You have chemistry, honors calc, Italian 5, advanced literature, and honors business." He turned to Louis. "You have the same classes as Luca, obviously." Then he turned to me.

"I looked at your transcript and saw you had pretty good grades and honors classes. You are signed up for advanced British literature, honors chemistry, statistics, and honors advanced economics, and you can choose a language I didn't see French on your transcript; do you know French?"

"No, I don't." That's a lie; I was fluent, but he doesn't need to know that.

"Okay, would you like to learn French or a different language?"

"Is there a French class?" Would a French school teach French?

"We live in an English-speaking part of France, and the school teaches in English, so we do teach French." Ok, so I could learn something I know or something I want to learn.

"Can I learn Italian?" I know French, Spanish, Russian, and Italian, so I'll take an easy class.

"Yeah, why not? You can." Awesome.
