"Get out of my room now," I spoke softly but sternly.
"Now why would I do that scar?" He stood up and walked closer to me.
"Now, Wolfy, I could scream right now, and all five of my brothers would come running in here to see you this close to me. How would that look? I could also tell them that you almost got me murdered while we were at it," he smirked.
"Well, you are one of their most wanted assassins, and you fighting Louise last night was not helpful. All I have to say is you are scarlet, and boom, your power is out of the window." He took off my glasses. "And you look fucked up right now." His eyes darkened in realization. "Please tell me you smoked something in the fucking closet."
"What if I didn't?"
"Scarlet, what the fuck are these?" I looked back to see wolf holding my bottle of pills. shit "Those are nothing, just a little pain medicine." I grabbed them out of his hands and put them back in my bag. "I'm not fucking stupid; I know what these are. Fuck scar, these are strong drugs. Please stop. I can help you. We can smoke together. Please just don't do these anymore." He was fuming. "Fine, I won't." I said, knowing I would probably take them when I got home. "No fucking promise me right now. I'm not joking." His eyes were black now. "OK, ok, I promise."
We both snapped out of our thoughts and just looked at each other. Next thing I knew, he ran to the closet.
"Where are they, Scar? Where the fuck are they?" He was screaming at this point. No doubt, my brothers will be here soon.
"Noah stop." I try to grab him so he will stop ripping through the draws, but he simply pushes me off of him, flinging me to the floor.
Pain washed over me. All I could let out was a scream. Everything was blurred. I could see Noah coming up to me. I saw the small orange bottle in his hands.
"Please, I just need one; it hurts too much." He looks at me, only questioning himself.
"Come on, I will give you ibuprofen." As he goes to walk away, my vision is still blurry.
"They're broken; ibuprofen isn't going to help." He was left with a sudden face of regret: "Look, I didn't want to break your promise, but the night you left was worse than I am right now, so I had to. I only take them when it gets bad, just, please."
He nodded his head, picked me up, and took me to my bed, giving me one pill. I took it and simply swallowed it dry. "I'm going to keep these coming to me when you need them, please, and before you fight." I just nodded my head at his statement.
Why is he being so nice right now? We were just threatening each other five minutes ago.
"Please don't tell them; only you, Maya, and Joe know and you three only know half of it. I'm not ready to tell five more." He just nodded his head and started to walk out. At this point, my vision was almost back.
I look at the ceiling and close my eyes. How am I supposed to trust Noah if he broke it so easily in the past and sold me to the devil? What if he does it again?
When am I going to tell them about me? Maybe when they tell me about the mafia.
There was another knock on the door. "Come in," I spoke tiredly.
"Hey Chloe, we just got back from work and picked up dinner." Wait, so they weren't here the whole time? It was just me and Noah; what the fuck, no wonder he didn't care if I would scream; there was no one to hear the screams.
I got up and started walking down the stairs, leaving my sunglasses on my bed, where they were thrown in the argument. My eyes were no longer red; my pulps were the only sign of the drug.
When I got to the kitchen, there was quiet chatter. I just simply sat down, and when the maids brought the food, I thanked them and started to eat slowly. This was my favorite food, but I could barely stomach it right now with the constant thoughts running through my mind.
"How was shopping petite sœur," Jack broke the quiet chatter.
"It was good. Thank you for the things," I replied.
Everyone went back to their quiet chatter.
After dinner, I went back up to my room, locked the door, and went to lay on my bed.
I rolled over to see my phone, remembering Maya and Joe. I reached for my phone, dialed their numbers, and called them.
"Hello, Atlas Gym this is Maya speaking. How may I help you?" I relax at the sound of her voice.
"Hey Maya," I spoke back, looking at the ceiling.
"Chlo, oh my god, are you okay? Where are you? Me and Joe have been worried sick," she rushed out.
"Maya, calm down Dom is gone; he is in jail, and now I'm living with my brothers in France. It's all over, and they care about me like they just spent thousands of dollars on new clothes. I'm better now." I heard a sob on the other side of the phone, followed by a male voice.
"Maya, sweetheart, what is wrong? Who is on the phone?" I smiled at his voice, which calmed me down even more. "Hello, who is this? You better have a good explanation for why my wife is crying." He was always protected over Maya, that's why I loved their relationship.
"It's just me, Joe," I laughed.
"Oh my god, Chloe, is it you? Oh, please tell me you are safe," he spoke quickly.
"Yes, I am ok. I'm cooped up in France now with my brothers. I'm ok now."
"I'm very happy to hear how you go and get some sleep; it's late there."
We said goodbye, and he hung up the phone. I finally felt tired, so I plugged in everything and tried to go into a dreamless sleep.
