"Thank you. I'll call you soon."
"Okay, miss."
The door closed. Taeyeon sighed slowly before she continued typing something on the keyboard.
She have to many works and she needs to settle it as soon as possible cause her wedding is around the corner. She hates to leave many works.
Suddenly, someone knocked on the door again. Taeyeon looked up and give the permission to enter.
It's her personal assistant again.
"Yes, Giselle?" she asked while frowning.
Giselle scratched her head slightly before she cleared her throat. "There's someone out there that wanna see you, miss." she said.
"And who was that?"
"Um, it's Mr.Byun Baekhyun."
Taeyeon's gaze changed. She let out a small breath before she looked at Giselle again. She needs to be professional. She nods once at Giselle, giving a permission to let Baekhyun in.
Giselle nodded before she bowed at Taeyeon and leave the room to call Baekhyun.
"What again?" she whispered slowly to herself.
Then, the door opened by someone. Taeyeon lifted her head and she saw Baekhyun walked into her room and he closed the door before he went closer to her place with a serious face.
Taeyeon changed her facial expression to the cool and professional one. She looked at him and stood up.
"Yes, do we have a problem about our project?" she asked professionally.
"It's not about that, Kim Taeyeon."
Taeyeon crossed her arms. "Then? What are you doing here if we don't have any works together?" she frowned.
Baekhyun grunted slowly. He walked towards Taeyeon and he grabbed Taeyeon's shoulders and made Taeyeon face him. Taeyeon was shocked a little by his action.
She looked at his eyes but only for a few seconds before she looked away. She can't. And she don't know why.
"Is it true that you are getting married in three days?" Baekhyun's slow voice asked.
Taeyeon smirked and looked at him. "Yes. Why? Is that a problem to you?" she asked back.
Baekhyun was silent for a moment before he looked directly into Taeyeon's eyes. "Do you really love Kibum?" the question is slow.
Taeyeon was silent for a while before she released Baekhyun's grip on her shoulder. She narrowed her eyes at him.
"Is that even a question?" she asked back again. "I'm getting married soon. With him. That's mean I love him. I really love him." she added.
"You're lying."
"What are you talking about? Geez."
"I'm saying the truth. You don't love him."
Taeyeon rubbed her face. She looked at Baekhyun in disbelief look.
"Please don't act like a crazy guy. Are you insane? I love Kibum. We'll gonna marrying each other soon. What's wrong with you? Why are you acting like this?"
"Because I love you!"
Damn.
Those were the words that Taeyeon was looking forward to once upon a time. The words that Taeyeon really hoped for when she really liked Baekhyun.
Taeyeon stared at Baekhyun's eyes. Her eyes watered a little. She then chuckled slightly and looked away from Baekhyun.
"Too late, Byun Baekhyun. Too late. Do you realize what you are saying? Huh? Are you aware? I'm engaged, and Kibum and I will getting married soon. Your words 'I love you' will not have any effect on me. Have you forgotten how you treated me when I loved you?" Taeyeon said sarcastically.
