I woke up to the loud ringing of my home phone, I dragged myself out of bed and out to the lounge. "yeah yeah what is it.." I mumble into the phone, "Y/n did you wanna go out with me?" I heard a familiar voice on the phone, my eyes widen slightly, was this really happening?! "and John, we're going out for celebratory lunch!" he finished, I sighed. I guess it wasn't really happening after all. "yep, just let me get dressed." I spoke, "great! We'll pick you up in 20!" He said before hanging up.
I face palm, I really thought he was gonna say it.. I chuckled, walking back over to my room to get ready.

Soon I hear a knock on my door, I rush on over and swing it open, to see Jack standing there. I look left and right, "where's John?" I ask, Jack frowns slightly. "oh he's.. he's sick-" He stammers, I nodded, and we walking over to the car. it smelt like axe deodorant, but was very clean. I look over to my side, seeing a pink Stickey note on the door handle. "Don't mess this up Jack you got this. -John" it read, I tilt my head in confusion, Jack slowly turns his head to look at me so I shove the note into my pocket.

"f/r?" He asked, my eyes widen slightly. "how did you know??" I smile. he chuckles slightly. "I have my ways!!" He lied. but we both knew he asked John, who was actually a childhood friend of mine. I give a soft smile, taking his hand in mine. he looks over at me staring confusing at my hand, but non the less he never pulled away. we arrive at the restaurant and get out the car. he pulls the door to the restaurant open for me. "royals first!" he grins. I laugh and pat his shoulder, pushing him inside with me.

We choose a table and sit down. I look over at him to see him fiddling with his hand nervously. I give a soft smile, grabbing his hand in mine and caressing it. "I have something to tell you.." he mumbled, I raise an eyebrow waiting for him to finish. "John isn't actually sick.. I just wanted to hang out with you." he confesses. I giggle at this, and he looks up at me "What?" He frowns. "Jack I already knew." I smile, he sighs in relief. "plus.." I start, looking away from his gaze. "I think it's nice to finally hang out with you.." I mutter. He gives me a wide grin, and we continue the day small talking every once and a while.

we pull up to my home and step out the car, I didn't want to go home. there was still so much of the day left and I wished I could've spent it all with him. "soo.. uh.. see you on Monday?" he says. "yeah.." I mumble, moving closer to him. he flushed a slight crimson at how close I was, So I kissed his cheek softly. I couldn't even describe how red his face was now. I giggle to myself before turning and walking to the door. "See you on Monday Jack!" I say before closing the door infront of him.

"s-see ya."

I slide down the door and onto the floor, putting my hands to my face. "why did I do that?!" I mentally slap myself. Till I hear my phone buzz. I grab it out of my pocket and unlock it. I look at messages, "one new message from Jack :)" I sighed opening the message and preparing for rejection. "I really enjoyed our date :)" it read.
