- Y/N POV -
I woke up too the sound of my little brother screaming on the phone, probably too his best friend, pump. I walked out of my room and rubbed my eyes, trying to get them too focus, "wh-whaat time is it.." I mumbled, walking up to my mom. "11 pm sweetheart, did skid wake you up too?" I slipped on my H/C, "practically.." I sighed, before I felt something grab onto my leg, I looked down, "AY SIB, YOU GOING TRICK OR TREATING WITH ME AND PUMP THIS YEAR??" skid basically yelled, I rubbed my ears before looking over to mom, she nodded slightly. I kneeled down to his level, "sure thing little guy!" I said, patting him on the head slightly, "YAY!!" He yelled once again, before we heard a knock on the door, we can both guess who that was.

-short time skip-

walking up to a new house they knocked on the door, but to no answer. they grabbed out a hammer from mid air and hit the door with it, I wasn't even surprised. "COME HERE YOU PRICK!!" He said, looking at me, I shook my head before pointing to the little kids below, specially the fact they were the ones holding the hammer. he bent down to there level, "TRICK OR TREAT!!" They said, wide smiles and all. "excuse me.." he said, smiling at first.. "you just, BROKE MY DOOR." he said, a furious frown arising on his face. At this point, I didn't even say anything, I just wanted to see how this would play out. the kids looked each other with a knowing look before turning back to him, pulling "scary faces" at him. he didn't care at first, till they didn't stop. "okay okay okay, fine! just take it." he said, dropping a few pieces of candy into each one of our bags, "YAY!" They both exclaimed, before rushing there way to more houses. this night was going to be exhausting.

- time skip -

we all rushed out of the forest in a rush, but the kids seemed unfazed at the screams that awoke in it. "Let's go to the haunted house!" pump said, we all agreed and rushed our way over to the 'haunted house'

-streber POV-
I waited just close behind the enterance curtains, waiting for more people to come over, when suddenly I heard a few kids screaming, "YAYYY!!" I peaked out slightly, wondering if they were headed towards here or not, and sure enough, they were. I straightened myself up before making my grand enterance, "Ah! Welcome to the hauntiest of houses!" there eyes looked like they were sparkling, even the person seemingly my age that was with them was quiet impressed. "As you can see, I am a real vampire!!" I said, pulling my cape over my head and pushing the kids towards a mirror. The person giggled at my attempt to seem as real as possible, i just smiled at them. "Now get inside! And get SCAREEDDD!" I said, they giggled and ran inside, expect one of them, I looked over to the person, and they smiled sweetly at me. "That was so amazing! You really got that vampire act down-pat!" They complimented, my face flushed a bit, I wasn't used to such sweet remarks from a stranger. "I really like your H/C too! it suits you nicely!" I said, trying to return the compliment, they giggled at me before patting me on the back, "I'm y/n, and you?" they laughed, "streber! The VAMPIREEEE" I said, trying to keep my act up, they chuckled again before waving at me and walking inside. 'What a nice person.' I thought to myself, straightening myself up as I heard around person walking up the houses small enterance stairs.

-short time skip-

-Y/N POV-
We walked out the haunted house and I looked around for a second, trying to find that sweet vampire fellow, before I heard pump say, "oh hey look!" to skid, I looked over to where they were looking, and my heart dropped. my hands starting shaking and my eyes grew wide. "That looks so real!" "That's amazing! Cmon let's get more candy!" They said, before innocently walking away. I bender over slightly examining the body, pump was right, it did look so real. Almost, too real. The eyes darting around the area in distress and his arm was cut clean off, I was about to pull my phone out and call somebody till I heard footsteps, and hid behind the mirror that was sitting on the porch. I peaked over slightly and saw.. the devil, dropping a bone on the ground before walking away. I peared out checking if it was safe before pulling out my phone and calling 911. "Hello, this is 911 what's ur emergency." The voice said, "yes, I'd like to report a murder.. at the haunted house down town.." I said, with a shakey voice..

-long time skip-

I walked down the hall, looking for room 13, I walked up to the door and peeked inside to see the little vampire boy laying on a hospital bed, "poor guy.." I mumbled, before walking inside and sitting on the chair next to the bed. I rested my hand on his and looked over to his other arm, luckily he wasn't in fateal condition, but he would definelty need to stay in hospital for at least a month. I looked at his sleeping face, he looked so peaceful and sweet when sleeping, I smiled slightly and caressed his hand, "don't worry, I'm gonna be here for you."
