I layed in bed, weeping in sorrow at my aching headache when I hear my bedroom door open. I turn my head and see streber standing in my door frame with a worried look. "I came as soon as I heard." he says, walking up to my bed and sitting at the end. he placed a soft hand on my forehead, feeling the temperature. "sweetheart.." he pouts at how hot it was, showing his vampire teeth still in his mouth. "why didn't you tell me sooner?" he rubs my hand. "I didn't want to bother you when you were working.."
he furrows his eyebrows and drags me onto him. "honey I would stop the entire world just to help you." He says, pecking my forehead. I can't help but laugh at how he would act when I was sick. I could barely keep my eyes open, occasionally closing them for a while as if I was falling asleep or blinking for too long. he pushed my back onto the bed and pulled the blanket over me. he tucked me in and smiled as I slowly closed my eyes and got comfortable.
"sleep well y/n."
he kissed my forehead and placed a hand on my cheek, slowly caressing it as I drift of too sleep.
I hear footsteps leave my room as I slip into a sweet dream.
