Yazid started developing feelings for Maryam in his teenage age, but he had no courage to rely on his feelings for her. The happiest day of his life was when his mother told him he was going to marry her; not knowing_ trusting his mother will lead to everything going wrong.
The weather could not have been better; it was a cloudless and warm day with no wind. Maryam and Yazid sat on the chairs surrounding a table outside the house.

As their eyes met, a sweet smile glided across her lips. Yazid gazed at her lips, he loves seeing her beautiful smile, it reminds him how much he loves her. She made him feel like there were only two of them in a beautiful world and no one else.

He spoke after clearing his throat. "Maryam, I would like to apologize sincerely for what Mama and Shukrah did to you. It isn’t fair and right. This won't happen again I swear...,"
She stopped him midway "Ya Yazid, It's kind of you apologizing for what you haven't done. You don't have to apologize to me because you haven't done anything,".
