Mia's POV

I came to New York for my further studies. I always dreamt of moving to New York and i am finally here!
It's the first day of my college and i am nervous because i am far from home and knows not a single soul here.
"You can do this" i said to myself. The second i entered in the class i feel butterflies in stomach, i took a seat and people were looking at me like i am a ghost but later on i started conversation and it was going good. As i have joined mid-semester it's hard to cope up but there's this girl named Stephanie she helped me with the notes. The first day of the college went fine and i am so ready to just go back to my dorm and take a nap.
I woke up the next morning just to see my roomie had some guest in her bed. I chose not to disturb them and went to take a shower and get ready for my classes.
After my classes was done Stephanie came to me and asked me "Hey there's a party tonight at the frat house, do you wanna join?" I had early classes tomorrow but i just said "Yes let's get crazy tonight".
I chose to wear a short-skirt with a pullover sweater and wore boots. And Stephanie came to pick me from my dorm. I get into her car and we are off to the frat house.
We stopped at the front gate, stephanie drag me inside. And few minutes later i lost her in the crowd. Now i am alone with the bunch of people i never saw. And i never been to a party before, so i was just looking around and suddenly i feel the push i looked around for who is it, the minute i turn around i saw this 6' feet tall guy, black hair, brown eyes. He walked closer to me "are you new here?" He said, before i could answer Stephanie came "stop messing with her" she said. And she drag me to the corner "stay away from him, he's not a great guy to be around" she said, i want to ask her why but i just kept quiet and the rest of the party was went with few drinks and games. We went to our dorms to get some sleep for the early morning classes.
Next morning i get ready for my classes and on my way to the coffee shop as usual i saw that guy from the last night again, Stephanie warned me to stay away from him but i walk towards him just to see him coming to me. "You're Stephanie's friends, aren't you?" He asked and i nodded.
He start to walk out and i just sit there and doing my notes. I take out my phone and dialed Stephanie's number, she picked up on the first ring. "Where are you?" I asked, she told me to meet her at the coffee shop in morning but she is late. "Oh yeah, i totally forgot we were meeting at the coffee shop i am sorry, i'll see you in class ok? And the call ended.
