Chapter 17

Mia's POV

After having lunch with Derek I wanted to ask him something but i am just scared he might get mad at me because he already told me that i am stuck with him in this house and i can't go out just because he thinks i am gonna run off and never come back but i needed fresh air and it's been three days i haven't gone out.

While he was working in his study room, i walked toward him and saw him completely focused on something is showing on his laptop screen. As i reach over to his desk, he kept his laptop aside "what happened sunshine, why suddenly you came to my study? I thought you were in the library" he impatiently asked. I gathered my thoughts and emotions and said "it's just i haven't been out since days and i really use some fresh air, so if you don't mind can i please go out for sometime." Before answering anything he stoop up and came forward to me and I was all ready to defend myself but he just pull me to him and whisper to me "whatever you need sweet." I melted the way he says those words to me, it was like so sweet and caring.

But don't forget you're still kidnap.

My subconscious reminded. He told me to get ready for shopping and I was way too excited for going out. Well i need to go to the university but one step at a time.

I walked downstairs and saw him already waiting for me. He guided me outside and to the car and we off to go for shopping. As we reached the mall, i straight went to the 'Zara' as that's my favourite brand of clothing. While I was looking for dresses, tops, bottoms and many more he was constantly staring at me and my cheeks burned so red but i chose to focus on my little time outside i have.

As i done with shopping i told him to wait for me as i have use the ladies room. The minute I entered the washroom a hand grabbed me and before I scream he covered my mouth with the other hand. The minute my eyes met his i panicked as if why he came back? What does he want now? Isn't he tired of abusing me for long?

I tried to free myself but nothing happened and he drag me outside the mall and to his car. I was struggling so hard so he banged my head against the car door and i went unconscious.

I wake up in my bedroom with a really bad headache and the last thing i remember was him dragging me to go with him and then i was unconscious. Did my kidnapper saved me from that cruel man?

"I see.. you're already up. Here have something to eat and after that you need to take those pills for your headache" Derek said as he saw me awake. I smiled at him and took the piece of a fruit and said "i want to ask you that...what happened when i was unconscious?" He stared at me and after a long pause he said "you needn't worry about that, everything's in my control. You just take care of yourself and tell me if you need anything, okay?" I simply nodded and chewing the fruit he got for me.
