Chapter 14

Mia's POV

He told me to stay in here but i tried to escape and now I am scared what he'll do to me. There's many possibilities he could lock me here forever or worse murder me. He dragged me all the way to the living room and i didn't utter a single word.

"Have i not made myself clear that you're gonna live here with me?" he yelled. I stayed there quiet not saying anything just to be sure not to say wrong thing. He then pin me against the wall and whispered in my ear "you're mine to take care of and I'll not let you go far from me, you're trapped with me until I said so." My breath shallowed and i am now speechless by him so close to me, his face is just mere inch away from mine.

He let go of me "Now go to your room and sleep, and don't try to run away" he warned me. I make my way to the bedroom and fall to the bed and wishing that I'd never went to walk outside that night.

The next morning came and i wake up to see him staring at me i raised an brow in confusion. "Get ready and meet me downstairs for breakfast" he ordered. I do as he say and went downstairs and took a seat across him on the dining and dive into the mouth watering food. After breakfast he went out for work and didn't even consider my presence in the room.

After i took shower and went to the library, i must have admire the decor of the every corner of the house. And the library was the best part. I took out a book and sat on the beanbag and start reading. As I was reading my phone buzzed in my pocket. I saw the caller ID, it was Derek. I pick up the phone "Hello?" I said. The masculine voice said "I have ordered lunch for you, it'll be there in few minutes." How will get the order the door was locked from outside, "okay, I'll get it" i replied. I end the call and began reading from where I left.

The door bell rang so many times i got irritated then i quickly went to the door and shouted "The door is locked from outside, how the fuck i am gonna open it you bastard." I heard the keys rattling and then door opened and the man in suit came in and placed my lunch in the living room "Have a good day, Mrs. Williams" he said.

"My name is Mia.. Mia Singh, not a William" i replied "BTW what's your name?" I asked. "Myself James.. i am the bodyguard Mr. William hired for you" He said. What? A bodyguard? I don't need a bodyguard. "Well... I don't need a bodyguard and you can tell your boss or whoever he is to leave me be" i blurted out.

He left and locked the door from the outside and leaving me alone in this big house. I take out a plate and filled with the lunch Derek send me with James and begin eating in silence. I am so bored with no one to talk to or not able to go out to get fresh air. Ughh this is so frustrating.

I decided to ask him to let me go out for an hour to get some fresh air when he comes home. I was asleep in my room when I heard the door opened i jolted up and went straight downstairs. I went to him "so.. how was your day?" I start conversation lightly, "It was fine as usual" he replied while making his way to the bar. He opened a bottle of whiskey and pour it in the glass.

"I wanted to ask you something" i gained some confidence to ask his permission "can i just take a walk outside, i have been in the house for so long and i want to get some air please?"

He put his glass down and looked at me angry and i flinched at his stare. I want to run away from him, he is dangerous he could kill me in a snap of his fingers.

He pulled me toward him and hold me still in his arms "when I told you, you're not leaving this house so obey my orders else you'll face consequences" he said and i nodded. He pulled me even closer and i can smell his minty breath mix with alcohol he just consume. He lick his lips and looked straight into my eyes. I shut my eyes closed, and in a swift moment his lips touched mine and give me shivers all over my body. He kissed me hard and passionate, his tongue slid in my mouth. We both left breathless by our breathtaking kiss, my lips swollen by the kiss and i wave him goodnight and went to my room to sleep.
