Chapter 19

Mia's POV

As I was resting in my bedroom, a thought came to my mind is why he came back and what does he want after years? He already broken me once and why did he want to tear me apart once again? And I was curious about as why Derek saved me from him? Why does he care about me? Who am I to him?

The door swung open and bring me  back to reality and a familiar figure walked in "i am going for work and if you need anything call me, okay? He informed and i shook my head. When he walked out of house i went downstairs in the living room and settled on the couch and watching movie to keep my mind off of the incident that happened today.

I fell asleep on the couch and when I woke up it's midnight and he didn't come home. I wonder where he is? Maybe he got lots of work to do.

Well.. he's rich and he has to work his ass off to earn this loads of money.

My subconscious interrupted. While it was right that he has to work so hard but i wonder what work he do. Maybe he is a successful businessman. Anyways, i am hungry and can't wait for him to show up and have dinner with me, so i decided to fed myself. I made my way to kitchen and filled my plate with bacon and rice and started eating in peace.

Derek's POV

I investigate everything i need about why he came back but i am not going to kill him now he deserve to have painful and slow death. He has to know that he doesn't deserve to mess with what's mine.

She hasn't call me i wonder what she's doing? I took out my phone from my pocket and dialing her number and waiting for her to pick up the phone "hello darling, what are you doing? Did you had dinner?" I asked her the minute she received the call. After a long pause she replied "I am actually having dinner right now because i fell asleep while watching a movie and woke up and why you didn't come home it's midnight?" I told her something important came up and she was satisfied by my answer, i don't want her to know yet about what I did with him and she hung up the phone to begin eating.

When i reach home it's 3:45AM and unlock the door open and made my way to her room and saw her sleeping peacefully. After checking in on her i went to my room and change into sweats and a t-shirt i fell asleep the second i lay on my bed.
