Bad Timing

Izuku woke up with his arm around Katsuki and the faint sound of corny romance music coming from downstairs. He blinked himself awake, groggily rolled away from the blonde, and forced himself to sit up. Not too long after, Katsuki resurrected himself, too, and immediately drifted to the bathroom, swaying with his eyelids still heavy from sleep. Izuku absentmindedly followed him, and watched with furrowed eyebrows as Katsuki, fully clothed, dropped into the empty bathtub.

"What're you doing?" Izuku asked.

Katsuki grunted. "I dunno, 's comfy."

Izuku nodded. "Well, close your eyes. I have to pee."

Katsuki turned over in the tub, practically falling asleep with his back facing Izuku. When Izuku finished, he washed his hands and face, then dragged Katsuki out of the bathroom and downstairs. The sound of lovey dovey music got louder, and Izuku nearly had a stroke as he entered the kitchen.

"All Might?!"

Yagi Toshinori stood like a tall, skinny tree in the kitchen, wearing Izuku's mom's apron. It was way too big for him width wise, and it barely reached past his waist, making the whole scene even more disturbing. His brittle yellow hair was pulled into a stringy ponytail on the back of his neck, and loose in his grasp was a spatula. On the stove was a large pan with two massive pancakes still cooking; beside it, a stack of pancakes was already made.

Toshinori blinked, shifting awkwardly on his feet (that looked much too big for his twiggy body). "Uh, hi, young Midoriya," Toshinori greeted. "Good morning."

Izuku spun around to face Katsuki, who was still practically asleep. (Izuku's Kacchan back in his reality was a morning person, so this was another minor detail that the freckled boy couldn't get used to.) "What is he doing here?" Izuku whisper-yelled to his blonde friend.

Katsuki shrugged. "Why don't you ask him? I mean, he can hear you, anyways."

Izuku's mom scurried out of the bathroom, muttering apologies about leaving Toshinori all alone in the kitchen. Upon seeing Izuku and Katsuki, Inko greeted them both with a quick kiss on the forehead.

"Good morning, my little doves," Inko giggled. "I told you about Toshinori, right? He and I have been talking for a while now. He offered to cook breakfast for you two this morning. Isn't that lovely?"

"Mom!" Izuku cried, absolutely mortified. "You're dating All Might?!"

Perplexed, Inko turned to look at Katsuki for answers. "Who is this All Might he's talking about? Should we call the doctor again?"

Katsuki shook his head, gently guiding Izuku back upstairs. "I'll take care of it," Katsuki muttered. "Probably just a weird dream. C'mon, Izuku."

Izuku couldn't stop mumbling as he was pulled up the stairs and back into the bedroom. "This can't be happening... I'm in hell... This is the underworld... Dear Jesus, what have I done to deserve this outrageous punishment? Forgive me, please... I can't take it..."

"Izuku, breathe," Katsuki said with a teasing laugh. "What the heck is going on? That can't be the All Might you were telling me about, right? I'm all for inclusion in hero society, but he's not exactly #1 material."

Izuku shook his head. "All Might has two forms: a big, muscle-y hero, and a pale, decaying twig. He got into a really bad fight with All For One and had trouble transforming into his bigger form. I don't even care that he's not a hero at this point– but why is he dating my mom?!"

Katsuki laughed again, this time covering his face with his hands. Izuku's dramatic reactions and the angry flush on his face was really priceless. "A while ago, Inko told us that she met this guy at some coffee shop. Apparently he works as a secretary at Yuuei high school. They kinda hit it off. But this is the first time he's ever showed up here, so... bad timing on your end, I guess."
