Paige admired herself in her full length mirror. She loved her strapless dress' deep red sparkly color with a black satin bow around the waist. It stopped at mid thigh so she could show off her smooth legs. To top off the dress, Paige paired it with her black pumps and a black clutch with her blonde hair in loose curls. With a spritz of her new perfume, she knew she was ready for the dance. Despite the fact that she couldn't go to the dance with Sean, because of his suspension, she knew she would have a good time with Janelle and her minions. She took a picture of herself to send to her mom because she knew her mom would've loved to see her in her outfit. As she heard the honk of her family limo, full of her waiting minions, she knew that this would a great Valentines Day.

"Paige, will you dance with me?" A freshmen asked.
"No."
The freshmen stood there, taking in Paige's response and awkwardly hoping that if he stood there long enough she'd say yes.
Paige noticed. "I said no! Are you deaf or something!" She yelled so that he could hear get over the loud music that was playing.
"No, Paige I-
"That means you can leave now."
The freshmen walked away with his head hanging down.
"Why'd you reject this one?" The minion, sitting across from Paige, asked.
"Don't ask stupid questions, Ashley. He was obviously dared."
"Sorry Paige, I wasn't looking hard enough." Ashley responded.
"Whatever."
Paige gazed around the gym full of happy couples dancing around. Even with the gym's beautiful decor,
Paige couldn't have been any less bored. Sean and Paige were all that people talked about at social events, but since there's no Sean, everyone just talked about Paige. The countless compliments that she received and the dared students who asked her to dance were starting to get to her, especially since Janelle was too busy dancing around to entertain her.
"Ashley, stay here and watch my drink." Paige commanded, leaving the minion at the table alone.
She walked to the dancefloor, busting out her finest moves. Everyone crowded around her watching in awe, joining her, just like she predicted.
I might as well enjoy myself. She thought to herself.
After hours of dancing and mingling, Paige was worn out. Walking towards the punch table to get herself a drink, she was stopped by someone.
"Paige, Paige!" Ashley cried out jumping up and down.
"Ashley, are you on drugs?"
"No."
"Then stop acting like you just snorted coke."
"Ok, but the news I have for you is very exciting."
"Tell me before I turn 30." Paige said, rolling her eyes.
"Sean's here."
"Ashley, it's not good to lie to your friends." Paige scolded.
"I'm not. Someone told me he's hiding out in the girl's restroom."
Paige's eyes narrowed, full of suspicion.
"Let's go together."
"You think it's a prank?" Ashley questioned.
