The funeral

AUBREYS POV~

Carters casket was black and white and an Asian flag was draped over the top. His mom practically threw herself over his grave begging him to come back.

And Vanessa, well she didn't even show up. I think she was too heartbroken. But weren't we all? My thoughts were interrupted by the ring of church bells and everyone left. Everything was a blur.

Everyone in the car was silent. The only sound was the tires turning and silent sobs.

"I would have never-" Nash stopped himself from finishing his sentence and interlocked fingers with mine.

"Everything's going to be okay." He mouthed to me, and I soon drifted off to sleep.

I woke up in Nash's bed, in his arms. I guess he had carried me in. I could just feel my mascara running down my face and I shivered, remembering Carters half eaten body laying on the ground, lifeless.

I hopped in the shower and got ready for school. They have been having serious bug problems and schools been canceled for about 1-2 months now. But I had gotten a call saying it was safe to return, I hoped so.

When I was done, everyone was in the kitchen silently eating left over donuts and drinking coffee. I walked up to Nash and kissed him on the lips.

"I love you." He said, after breaking the kiss. I gave a slight smile and walked over to Vanessa. She looked horrible. She had bags under her eyes and her hands were in her face. I walked up to her and sat down beside her, rubbing her back in circles. I felt really bad. Her and Carter  weren't even dating and she loved him. She never got to even tell him those 3 little words.

School was a blur, just like anything else at that point. Me and Nash had only a few classes but we had the same lunch.

At lunch, a lady on the intercom said that the school will be closing down because of the infestation. Oh great. How wonderful.

Of course everyone piled outside and raced into their cars to go home, not even asking on how they would get their education for the rest of the semester. I knew my mom would get a call about it and sooner or later she's sign me up for online classes.

It was only me and Nash driving home today, everyone else was either going shopping, or doing something to keep that weekend off their minds.

"Where you wanna go babe?" Asks Nash.

"HOME!!!" I screamed. Oops. A little too loud. He laughed and put one arm around my shoulders and used one arm to drive.

AMELIAS POV

The school was being shut down because of a bug infestation. Ew. Me, Cam, Vanessa, and Taylor all went to the mall to go shopping. Taylor needed a new MacBook, Cam wanted to see some fans, Vanessa just wanted to sit alone and eat Dippin Dots ( I didn't let that happen ) and I needed to look at new phones. I've had this dumb IPhone 4s for 5 years and it sucks!

After we all got everything we wanted, we drove to Cams house. I think Aubrey and Nash just needed time alone. (A/n and if you just thought of them having sex or making out, you are a true perv!😜 )

We just sat around and took millions of selfies on Taylor's new MacBook Pro. Today was one of the best in a long time.

AUBREYS POV

When we got home Nash carried me bridal style and practically threw me on the couch. Then he sat. Right. On. Top. Of. Me.

" NASH GET YOUR FAT BUTT OFF ME OH MY LORD!!!!" I screamed, trying to catch my breath. He started dying of laughter and kissed my forehead and just lay there with me. We didn't talk, or nothing. Just laid there. Peacefully.

" I really miss Carter. " he blurted out. I looked up and him and he was crying. I wrapped my arms around him and he sat up. We rocked  back and forth and I ran my hand through his hair softly.

"It's okay Nash. I promise everything alright." I claimed. But the truth was, I didn't know if it would be.
