Thomato - A day off ☁️ (Modern AU)

Hello beautiful people! My apologies for not sticking with schedule, i was traveling to go to my little cousins birthday party, and she wanted me to stay a few more nights, so now I'm here to upload!!

this will be fluff, maybe has a plot, should have a plot. I don't know, I'll wing it from here on,

3rd Person POV

Ayato had been working for countless hours, getting paperwork done, scheduling, canceling, and attending tri-commission meetings, and so fourth. And hell, he would have forgotten to eat something if his loyal house worker (malewife)Thoma didn't bring food to his office and remind him. 

"Waka, I've brought you some food! its your favorite!" Thoma grinned. Ayato smiled at him. "Thank you, Thoma." he took the food, and took a bite. "Ah, is this Unagi you put in the pasta?" Ayato took another bite. "yes, Milord! we were out of fowl, so I swapped it with Unagi meat! I hope it is to your liking!" Thoma bowed his head. Ayato nodded. "I can go and get some today when I go to the store!"

" Actually, I'm off of work today, I can come with you." Ayato stood up in his chair, as Thoma stood there confused. "But Waka you have a meeting today with the tri-commission and-"

"Cancel it until tomorrow, they can wait on my command." Thoma was extremely confused at this point, this wasn't like Abate to just call off a meeting just for one small thing, after all. "E-eh?? Waka are you okay? you don't usually cancel a whole meeting for something so small-"

"I just feel like spending time with the person I like." Ayato interrupted, a smug grin making its way across his face. "I-I..ahem, well then get ready, I'm about to leave." Thoma was flustered, he didn't expect Ayato to say anything like that if he was being honest to himself. He put on his jacket, and waited at the door for Ayato.

Ayato walked out of the room in his casual clothes that he rarely wore, almost like he had just bought them for this occasion. He smiles at Thoma, and opens the door for him. "Mr. Ayato, aren't I supposed to be opening the door for you when we go out together?"

"today, I thought I'd do something nice for you, so don't think too much about it." Ayato replies, as he walks ahead. Thoma comes to his senses, and follows behind the commissioner. Soon enough, they are now in the down of Inazuma city. "Hey, Ayato! after we get the groceries, can we go sight-seeing, if its okay with you?" Thoma asked. Ayato grinned, and turned over to Thoma. "Of course we can, if that's what you want to do. Me personally, I'd love to go with you."

Thoma could feel his body heat start to unusually rise, as he nodded. The two made their way to the grocery store to get food, as well as some treats for Tarumaru. Thoma walks down the treats section, while Ayato goes to get some fowl from the frozen foods section. "hm, I don't think they have the brand Tarumaru likes is in stock right now, I can come back tomorrow if that's the case." Thoma walked down the isle, to look for the closest thing that Taru would like, then makes his way to the frozen foods section to look for Ayato. "Hey Ayato! I-" he stopped himself after seeing people crowd around him. Ayato looked like he was losing his patience. as for Thoma? he wasn't having it. 

He forced his way through the crowd, and grabbed Ayato, dragging him back over to their cart. "Thoma-" Thoma looked at Ayato, his usually kind and gentle eyes have gone cold, sending shivers down Ayato's spine. "I'm sorry Milord, but seeing people who you don't know crowd around you, it makes my...blood boil" Thoma silently spoke, as they both made their way to the cashier, and paid for their groceries.

Thoma and Ayato walked back to the estate, and put stuff away before going back out and going to their favorite spot to sight see. As soon as they get there, they set up a blanket, and lay it on the ground to sit on. Thoma sets up the basket of food, and finally, they could relax. "Ah, Milord, I don't know how many times I've said this, but this is my favorite place to be with you." Thoma smiles at Ayato, as he lay his head on his shoulder. "Thoma, about earlier, you never usually give those kind of cold stares, were you that mad at the crowd?" Ayato calmly asked. "Well, of course I was. It was only supposed to be me and you, I understand that you own a large company, accompanied as the tri-commission, but they don't have a right to pry into your personal life." Thoma strictly replied.

Ayato just grinned, as he pulled Thoma into a hug. "You don't need to get jealous, my dear. I'm all yours." Ayato whispered into Thomas's ear. "I-I..." he couldn't find the words to reply back to Ayato's words. "You don't have to say anything, all I ask is for us to stay like this for a bit, alright?" Thoma laughed. "Is that an order milord?" Ayato kissed Thoma, a soft gentle kiss, and smiled.

"So what if it is?"

anddd done!!~ hehe, this shouldn't have taken longer than it did, however I finally got my PC! so I will be sticking to my schedule!! I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter, i'd say I did pretty well after not writing for like two weeks!
