Almost too joyous as if it couldn't seen the darkness that haunted the very streets of death city.

In the shadows a young girl was running for her life, her name unknown, fearful of the monster that
was following her.

A monster so ugly and soul hungry, she completely mis stepped and fell, watching as the monster made there way over to her and all she could do is scream.

Right as the monster was about to make there final blow-

"Mah what a beautiful sight we have here right Gai ?"

The creature turned, gazing at a pair of two shadows one with hair sticking at all angles with a mask shrouding his facial features, making out only a single dark eye and what looked to be a smirk.
Next to him was a built man with coconut shaped haircut wearing a green suit and smiling brightly.

"Of course great rival Kakashi! What beauty's it is to see such a kishin attempt to take one life like our all might death himself! But, we can not let such tragic thing come to the innocent beauty after all! That kishin is dangerous."
Gai chanted out watching the kishin before turning into his weapons form, a chained scythe, being caught in mid air s Kakashi lunged toward the kishin fighting it off and blocking the attempted against by the monsters giant claws.

He used Gai chain to trip the creature before turning around and quickly slicing it in two. The kishin body exploded leaving on a red soul like egg which Gai eat quickly.

"Why thank you great rival for such a great meal!" Gai exclaimed turning back into his human form with ease and grinned brightly.

Kakashi simply shrugged after all this was the day to day of being a death weapons miester, purging away the souls that have strayed from humanity and bring them to an end. Only that way the world can be a peace and balance.

"Nah, it's nothing besides might as well give you a going away present since this is our last mission together. Now let's go we have to report to my father. "

Kakashi reported noticing a figure behind his father but made no comment about it, but clearly suspicious.

"Good good! Come back safely. Oh Kakashi, your new partner has arrived as well so please come to my office. " with that the window went black and all that shined threw was the various wedding dress on mannikins. Kakashi sighed, he had told his father that it was perfectly fine without a partner but clearly that old man didn't hear him whatsoever.

The weapon and miester pair returned to the school in a eerily silence mostly since neither knew what was exactly was going to happen but they hoped it was good. Kakashi waved Gai good night before opening the door to his fathers office and as the young male laid eyes on his new partner, Kakashi little reaper heart almost stopped.

"Oh I think we'll get along perfectly, after all your soul is mine. " the reaper joked but there was a light flirty tone within his words.

"Oh? We will have to see about that Mr. reaper. Because from what I heard you destroyed an entire pyramid? "Iruka teased

"Mah, that was on accident besides the mummy was so ugly but I'll tell you the story about that later. Come I'll show you my home."

With that, the new pair left leaving death with a smile on his face. Clearly it wouldn't be too long before he would see adorable, adopted little grandkids. As well as a wedding of course. He just hoped it was soon enough.
