Snow dogs

(Based on the movie Snow Dogs)

Alaska.

Freaking, cold and snowy Alaska.

They've got to be kidding right?

He was not going to some winter home where his supposed 'family' left behind in his care, if anything it would be best if he just up and sell everything in that house. It wasn't much use to him, besides as much as he loved the cold he was teacher and he couldn't just leave this student (well he could name a few) but iruka guessed it wouldn't hurt to get away from the demons for a while, he won't be gone for long and it wouldn't be to hard,  it wasn't like he was going to meet the love of his life or anything like that. The brunette stood up holding a  stack of papers in his hands, placing them neatly in a small folder before he began to pack. ' Alaska... who would live in alaska?' He thought to himself gazing  around his home before letting out a quiet sigh once he finished packing. Simply to say, once he arrived iruka was dying, dying hard from the bitter winter that bit as his nose and shivered  like death was upon him.
If there was one nice thing about Alaska it would be town his deceased family once lived in. It was lively and full of huskies, husky's at every turn he swore. Yet one group of dogs caught his attention  as he dragged  his luggage from the long flight, huffing slightly. They were in groups of two minus the leader who stood proud and tall like any alpha dog would. They gazed at him in curiosity once he approached wagging there tails like they knew iruka his whole life. " hello doggies.. how are you guys?" He asked knowing they wouldn't answer him, petting the leader who was black and white with his ears pointed to moving to lick the teachers face who laughed in return.
" I like you too. But where's your owner?" He asked looking around and flinched back by the feeling an arm wrap around his waist and pull him into a strong chest. Hot breathe warming up his already pink cheeks. " why hello there ~ who might you be petting my pets huh?" The voice asked chuckling at the Iruka's  reaction before releasing the young teacher who didn't faint on him like the many others who did.
" o-oh I'm iruka Umino. I'm from Florida." He said regaining his wits and he moved over to take a good look at the male who hugged him like a teddy bear.

"Iruka.. I'm kakashi and it's a pleasure to meet you. We hardly get any travelers so it's nice to see a new face. I hope I get to see you around more." Kakashi replied with a slight smirk at he patted his dog as his gazed traveled up and down Iruka, almost as if he was trying to swallow the young male whole. "I would love to have you by my side." He added watching at the brunette slightly sputtered in surprised his eyes flickering around almost to find an escape. "W-well it was nice meeting you but I have to go.. so bye!" Iruka said rushing off but it was clear to anyone that Iruka might just have a crush on kakashi.
