The cold and isolating dark room gave comfort to iruka while he gazed down at the corpse slay onto the table. It almost seemed to scream to be cut up and freed of all its organs that weighed them down and it wasn't like he was both killing and selling these creatures organs online to a black market. No, that was Mitsuki  job, Iruka was only the middle man which was to simply cut open the subject, jar up the insides while hoping for the best it wasn't a friend or neighbor.

Even so, Iruka wasn't exactly a social butterfly besides occasionally saying hello to his friends down the streets. Other than that he kept to himself hiding his really job behind closed doors. The world he lives in is nothing like it seems, supernatural creatures live among the humans hiding there true skins behind a human shield. The most creatures are on the dangerous list and one of the most dangerous was the Zannie's creatures that feed off people pain.

"Focus iruka, you don't want Mitsuki to sell you off because you didn't finish the job." He muttered getting straight to work starting from the base of the chest cutting down then across to form an T getting lost his work. By the time he was done, he heard the sound of a door closing and struggling from the other room. Puzzled, Iruka poked his head outside the operation room to see Mitsuki dragging a duffle bag with what seemed like something alive.

"Ah! iruka there you are come and help me get this dude into the cage. He'll bring us do much money we won't need to work ever again. He's a nine tailed fox! I know you've wanted to see what was inside of one." Mitsuki said with a smirk curling up his lips as his eyes shinned with so much greed it almost seemed that he was just a greedy shell.

Iruka blinked stunned that his partner would do something like that but he could hardly talk and quickly aided mitsuki into placed the prisoner into the cage. What came next, broke iruka heart as the prisoner was a young boy with sunshine blonde hair, vivid blue eyes that shined with fear and whisker like scars on his cheeks. He couldn't believe Mitsuki kidnapped this young boy and with no remorse.

"Mitsuki.. this is wrong he's just a kid! You shouldn't be doing this no matter how much money we gain I am not going to cut him up." Iruka gritted out before earning a punch to the cheek and let out a whimper placing a hand on his cheek. "Shut up! You will go through with no matter what so quit whining and bring me the jars so I can take box them up."
The light blue haired male hushed leaving iruka alone with the scared child.

It was about 5 when iruka heard the loud sobs of the child and his own heart tugging at him to help him. 'I should.. but I can't cut him up' he thought dragging his body out of bed as quietly as he could, hoping to avoid Mitsuki waking up. As he tipped toed down the hall, iruka snatched the keys that hung from the end of the hall and opened the door slowly. The blonde cowered, curled up in a fetal position and pressed up against the end of the cage.

"Ssh, I'm not going to hurt you. I'm iruka and I promise to get you out before something terrible happens to you. I'm sorry." Iruka whispered unlocking the cage slowly in hopes that the child would trust him enough to leave.

"I-I'm Naruto. I want to go home." naruto said his voice barely above an octave as he glanced at iruka, visibly curious about the scar on his face. "Anyway, come on. There's a bus station no far from here so you get home. "

Taking Naruto hand Iruka guided the child to the station handing him his phone, money and the ticket that he purchased. He gave him a weak smile as he watched him board the bus knowing the moment he returned home Mitsuki would most likely kill him. 'Even if he kills me at least I did one good thing that saved his life.'

Home was shockingly quiet.

Too quiet.

Iruka was almost relieved.

Keyword almost.

Until a sudden chop to his neck made his world black and the last thing he saw was Mitsuki smirking while Simone carried him away from the world he had known.
