No one's POV
Back at Atlanta Taesha, Kentrell, and Micheal was leaving the hospital. Thankfully no one was actually hurt so they were good to go. Taesha couldn't believe her own child had shot at her, she knew that his demons has completely took over him. All she could do know was they to stop him and do what she shouldve did a long time ago. Allow the law to arrest him. Just thinking about it... made her feel away. But she knew that it needed to be done. This sick game has gone on long enough and it needed to be stopped.
She knew it may mean he will be locked away for life and never see his children again, but she had to do it. Bria needed to be free, the poor girl didn't need to be with him anymore. Kentrell on the other hand was beating himself up because he was having the urge to come to Atlanta but he never acted on it because he was so mad at Bria for marrying Von, now he regrets ignoring the urge because his baby girl was now missing.
" So what is the next step officer?" Kentrell says, breaking the awkward silence as they get in Kentrell rental car.
" I was able to get in contact with an informant of mine", Michael says, looking down at his phone.
" Okay... where he at?" Kentrell asks him, starting the car.
" he's gonna meet us back at Taesha and I hotel room, we gonna see what he knows so we can move forward ", Micheal explains.
" Okay put the address in the GPS ", Kentrell says handing him his phone.
" You okay baby?" Micheal asks, turning around to look at Taesha.
" I'm fine, I'm just thinking..." she says, not wanting to discuss how she was truly feeling at this moment.
" Its gonna work out, The twins, bria, even Von , I'm not gonna let no one hurt him", he assures her, grabbing her hand.
She nods her head, giving him a fake smile. She just hope his words was true, she didn't want her son to die, Bria, or any of the kids. She was really scared and didn't want no one else to get hurt. The ride to the hotel was about 20 minutes, Kentrell was anxious to see who this informant was.
Once Kentrell finds a parking spot, the three quickly make their way into the hotel, heading on the elevator to the fifth floor, to the third room on the left. Inside the room waiting was Durk, Von's best friend. Taesha eyes become wide when she realizes that it is indeed Durk. She stops in her tracks, looking at him.
" Hey momma, " Durk says in a nervous tone, looking at her.
" Durk? What is going on?" She says, she was so confused right now.
The room grew still as four of them stood there, the silence was growing intesnse. Durk was embarrassed and felt uneased. He loved his friend but he was always Jealous of him. Von was the ladies man, women always preferred Von over him, from Childhood, even as adults. Von was also better than Durk in a lot of other ways, sports, style, etc. Durk saw Von as threat, not to mention he was terrified of fully going against Von so he had to hide behind this officer to get what he wanted. To get rid of him.
