Before Kiyoomi went back to the Underworld, he made a stop by the Islands of the Blessed to pay a visit to Koushi, the god of flowers. Koushi was quite surprised seeing the god of the Underworld, but he immediately agreed to help Kiyoomi with his plans when Kiyoomi had explained.

After everything had been arranged, Kiyoomi stepped back into the shadows and into the darkness. He stepped out of the darkness in Atsumu's bedroom, where he saw the god of summer on the balcony, looking out over the expanse of the Underworld. Kiyoomi unclipped his mask and quietly made his way over behind Atsumu. Kiyoomi gently wrapped his arms around the god of summer's waist and pulled him back into his chest, before placing a soft kiss at the base of his neck. Atsumu gasped and blushed heavily, drawing a light chuckle from Kiyoomi, who watched, amused, as the tips of Atsumu's ears turned red.

"Did you miss me?" Kiyoomi asked quietly into Atsumu's ear, making the blonde god shiver.

Atsumu nodded and relaxed into Kiyoomi's hold, "'Course I did, Omi," he verbalized, and Kiyoomi smiled.

"My apologies, Sunshine, I just had to clear a few things up before I do anything with you," Kiyoomi replied.

Atsumu flushed, "An' what may that be?" He asked.

Kiyoomi grinned and leaned down to whisper in Atsumu's ear, "That's a surprise, but for now, what do you say about picking up where we left off?"

Atsumu smiled as he turned around in Kiyoomi's hold, but it dropped into a small frown, "Before we do that... Can I ask somethin'?" He requested, his gaze tracing the floor.

Kiyoomi let the tips of his fingers gently tip Atsumu's chin up to look at him, "Anything," he promised.

Atsumu blinked, and looked away, "What were ya thinkin' 'bout earlier? When I asked ya an' ya said ya didn't wanna talk 'bout it?"

Kiyoomi's eyes widened slightly, before it melted into a soft smile. He leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on Atsumu's lips.

"I was thinking about you," he admitted, rather shyly, once he pulled away, "I was thinking about my feelings for you, and the fact that they were unrequited, but then you kissed me... So, I guess I don't have to worry about that anymore," he added with a shrug.

Atsumu cupped Kiyoomi's face, warm hands against cool skin, and pulled him down for a kiss. Kiyoomi returned the kiss and tightened his hold around Atsumu's slim waist, pulling him closer. The longer they kissed the more heated the kiss became, until eventually Kiyoomi scooped Atsumu up from the ground by the back of his thighs and placed him on the railing. Kiyoomi's hands slid up underneath Atsumu's toga, caressing every part of his skin. Atsumu whimpered and clawed at his hair as Kiyoomi came closer, standing in between Atsumu's legs.

"O-Omi..." Atsumu whimpered as Kiyoomi's head dipped into the crook of his neck to leave bites and marks on his perfect sun-kissed skin.

Kiyoomi grunted, his voice hoarse with arousal, "Yes, Sunshine?" He practically growled against Atsumu's skin, "Tell me what you need."

Atsumu whined prettily at the pet name, "I need ya, Omi," he panted.

Kiyoomi grinned, and looked up at Atsumu from where his mouth was attached to his neck. Kiyoomi's heart beat faltered. Atsumu's lips were swollen and parted, breath heavy and deep, eyes closed, and a red flush rose high on his cheeks as he tilted his head to the side to give Kiyoomi more room. Kiyoomi was sure he had never seen a more gorgeous sight, and he instantly tightened his grip on Atsumu's thighs and hoisted him up. Kiyoomi carried Atsumu into the room, closing the curtains of the balcony behind them.

A few hours later, Kiyoomi was lying under the red and gold sheets of Atsumu's bed. The god of summer in question was peacefully sleeping on his bare chest while Kiyoomi absent-mindedly ran his fingers down the length of Atsumu's hair, untangling the sunlit strands. He smiled to himself, recalling the night before, and looked down at his lover. He smiled seeing the peaceful look on Atsumu's face before he sighed. He had work to do. Kiyoomi slid out of the bed, careful to not wake up Atsumu, and then he got dressed and began his plans.

About two hours later, Atsumu awoke alone in his bed. He sighed and got up, pulling on his toga and sandles before fixing his hair. He went down to breakfast and noticed that Kiyoomi wasn't there. Atsumu sighed again, but yelped when, the moment he finished his ambrosia and nectar, a hand closed around his eyes and mouth, and an arm wrapped around his waist. He fell backwards against a broad chest and they slipped backwards, the air around them going cold.

"Don't worry, Atsu, I'm right here," came the familiar voice of Kiyoomi from behind him, and Atsumu relaxed in his hold.

Atsumu let himself be taken through the darkness by Kiyoomi, until eventually they stepped out of the shadows onto solid ground. Kiyoomi's hand moved from Atsumu's waist to join his other hand in covering Atsumu's eyes.

"I have a surprise for you," he informed, "Would you like to see it?"

Atsumu nodded, and instantly, Kiyoomi's hands were moved away from his face. Atsumu opened his eyes and gasped. They were in a massive cavern that was covered ceiling to floor in plants and flowers.

Lush green devil's ivy climbed the walls with bright pink bougainvillea wrapping around the stalagmites and stalactites, and pastel orange bignonia vines hanging from the ceiling. The grass was a vibrant green and soft to the touch. The floor was speckled with bushes of pale red carnations, and scintillating yellow daffodils. Light peach-colored gladiolus flowers rose out from large bushes, along with pretty purple aconitum. Light pink and yellow tulips dotted the green grass, and blood red spider-lilies grew from cracks in the walls. Pure white chrysanthemums bloomed from bushes at the base of stalagmites along with white lilies. A small pond was situated in one corner with lilypads and pink and white lotus flowers blooming on its surface. A massive poplar tree grew out from the center of the cavern, stretching up to the ceiling. The cavern was lit up with soft orbs of orange light, bathing the area in warmth.

Atsumu's eyes watered and he was at a loss for words. Kiyoomi smiled and wrapped his arms around Atsumu's waist from behind.

"Do you like it, Sunshine?" He asked.

Atsumu faltered, "Do I... Like it? I love it! This is amazin'..." He swallowed the lump in his throat, trying not to burst into tears, "When didja have time to do this?" He whispered.

Kiyoomi smiled, "Yesterday, when I went out, I went to go talk to Koushi. He helped me with this," he explained and Atsumu hummed, "I also went to speak to your brother," Kiyoomi added suddenly.

Atsumu froze, "Ya went to Samu? Why?" He asked softly.

Kiyoomi sighed lightly and hooked his chin over Atsumu's shoulder, "Because I needed permission to give you this–" He paused, "–as a courting gift."

Atsumu inhaled sharply, "C-courtin' gift'?" He echoed, "Does that mean...?"

Kiyoomi smiled weakly and pulled away, allowing Atsumu to turn around and look at him.

Kiyoomi nodded weakly at Atsumu's question, "I would like to court you, Atsumu," he confirmed, "If you'll have me, that is," he added before quickly promising, "And I swear on the River Styx that I won't hold it against you if you don't want to."

That smashed through the dam walls, and tears of pure happiness flooded Atsumu's eyes and ran down his cheeks as he broke into a bright smile.

"Yes, Omi! Yes!" He answered, surging forward to hug Kiyoomi tightly, "How could I say no?"

Kiyoomi smiled wider than he ever had in his two and a half thousand years of life, and returned Atsumu's hug eagerly.

"I love ya, so much, Omi..." Atsumu spoke, his voice muffled against Kiyoomi's chest, but still audible.

Kiyoomi had never felt so happy in his life, and hugged Atsumu even tighter, "I love you more, my Sunshine."
