"Shh!" Shuu put a finger over his lips, looking at the others through the front mirror.
He pushed his cap up so it wouldn't cover his face.
Remi's eyes welled up with tears, "You little idiot. Why are you so late?"
Among the Miyamura siblings, Shuu was the youngest one. And at the moment, he was also the only one single.
Shuu smiled widely, "I'm sorry about that. I was with Shindou-san."
"Did Shindou-san send you?!" Toru asked.
Shuu nodded, "Yes," saying that, the smile on his face disappeared, "How's he doing?" he asked, looking at Hori and Miyamura.
"Earlier, I could feel him breathing very slowly but now..." Hori said, her voice monotone and raspy, "I can't feel his heartbeat."

Jacob stepped out of the car, inhaling deeply.
"What a nice day!"
"Only for you," Shawn commented as he also stepped out.
"Of course, I know you prefer to stay cooped up in your office than to come out and enjoy the bounties this beautiful world has to offer, introvert-kun," Jacob teased Shawn, feeling a bit proud at his successful attempt at using Japanese honorifics, as the both started walking inside the airport.
"Me being introverted is totally unrelated to the current situation, sadist-san," Shawn, said, glaring sideways at Jacob.
"Any moment now," Jacob said with a smirk, ignoring Shawn's words.
Just then, one of Jacob's men came up running to them.
"S-Sir Jacob! Th-The vampires have ran away!"
Shawn listened to the man's words in silence. Then his gaze travelled to Jacob.
Jacob's eyes were widened in shock. He grabbed the man's collar, "You guys literally had one job! Go find them!" he yelled before pushing the man on the floor.
Jacob gritted his teeth in frustration, running a hand through his perfectly gelled hair, messing them up.
Karl Wright, a senior researcher in International Superbeings' Research And Security Centre Headquarters. He was sent as the leader of the security squad from headquarters.
Karl walked up to Jacob, "What is the meaning of this, Jacob? Wasn't your squad responsible for safely bringing them here? How can you guys mess up such a simple task?" he asked.
Jacob turned to him and forced a smile, "With all due respect, Mister Karl. My squad did their job by bringing them here. It is only after arriving at the airport that they were discovered to be missing. As in such case, putting all the mess on my shoulders is not the fair answer."
