We all decided on going to the beach to relax and let loose. We wanted to make the most of the day since Brooke had to go back to LA tomorrow and we had a long day of filming as well.
We packed a bag with waters, a few small bags of chips, and a towels for each of us. "I'll get us an uber." Brooke exclaimed. "We'll be back later, mom!" And with that, we left. The uber arrived not much later and we all packed into the back.
Once we got to the beach, we went to find a spot on the sand. There weren't many people there so it was easy to find a good place. I took off my Jean shorts and set my towel down before running into the water.
I squealed and ran out super quick. "Jesus! That water is so cold!" I shouted to the girls that were far away from me now. Becca laughed as she approached me. "That explains why nobody's here." She said, handing me my, now sandy, towel. "Thanks."
I wrapped it around myself and walked back over to Maddie and Brooke. "So.. should we go somewhere else?" Brooke asked. I shrugged and we all discussed what to do for a bit.
Maddie gasped and scared all of us. "I know what we can do! Brooke, call another uber, let's clean up!" Me and Becca shared a look and picked up our towels from the ground.
When the uber arrived, Maddie whispered into the guy's ear the location and he began to drive. "Where are we going?" Becca asked. "You'll see." She grinned sneakily.
We pulled up in front of a crafts shop. "Maddie?" She got out of the car and pulled out $30 from her pocket. "Woah! Where did that come from?" I asked, shocked. "My mom never lets me go anywhere without emergency money."
I zipped up my jacket to cover my swim suit and we walked into the building. The bell on the door dinged and a lady came over to us. "Hey girls! How can I help you!"
"Can we do some painting?" Maddie said, holding out the money. "For all four of you?" She nodded. "Sure! Come on over to the painting station." She took the money and led us to the back corner. There was a wall of paints and a few easels.
"Take a seat and I'll be right back with your canvasses and brushes."
Becca and Maddie took a seat at a nearby table and Brooke and I sat at the easels. The lady came back and gave us each a cup of water, a brush, and a paint pallet. As soon as she left, I picked my colors and began to paint.
