8. That one

Colby's POV:

I slowly opened the door into Y/n's room, and saw her dead asleep, she looked peaceful "dude she's dead asleep" I say to Sam behind me she looks sweet I think, just quit the dreaming Colby, she will never be yours, I think bitterly "well, let's not disturb her, let's just edit the video, and see if she's awake by then" Sam says and walks back to his room.

I sat in my room, editing a bit, it's been an hour since me and Sam checked up on Y/n, she surely had been tired after the investigation last night. I couldn't judge her, I was tired too, but I had to edit the video first. I heard a knock on the door and saw Y/n walking in closing the door behind her.

She looked like shit, dark under her eyes and messy hair. She slowly walked over to me, and bumped into my bed, and said "Colby can I sleep here? " nearly half asleep, "of course, i was thinking of getting some sleep too" I say, laying in my bed beside her.

Closing my eyes and listening to Y/n calm and slow breath I fall asleep with my arms around her.

Sam's pov:

Closing my computer, and letting out an exhausted sigh, I lean back In my chair, staring up in the ceiling. I decided to grap some water downstairs, walking down the stairs hearing Elton's and Corey's voices, made me calm.

After the nights events it was nice to hear a normal conversation. I took a glass and got some water in, and turned to go up to my room again, until I heard a voice say my name "hey Sam" I turned around and saw Katrina standing behind me, with Devyn behind her.

"Hey Kat! " I reply "you look so exhausted Sam, everythings alright? " she asks "everything is fine, I'm just tired after yesterday's investigation, that's all" I say giving her a little smile "well that's good, I guess. Where's Colby and the new roommate? " kat looked past me up the stairs. "Surely asleep, it was a pretty though night. And I better go get some sleep"

I say to her giving a goodbye "sleep well Sam" she says and walks in the living room with Devyn, Corey and Elton.

Y/n's pov:

I slowly woke up with a delicious sent in the air, trying to get up I feel arms around me, I look and see Colby, still sleeping. How did I get into his room? I wonder, slowly getting free from Colby's grip, I stood out of his bed. Hopefully not waking him up. "Where are you going beau-" Colby stopped himself.

I turned my head and saw Colby looking at me, "seeing who's making food" I reply, he nods and lays his head down on the pillow again, waking up. I closed Colby's door behind me and walked into my own room to get some clothes on, and brushed my hair.

I then went downstairs and into the kitchen to see a person I didn't know standing there making food. "Oh hello! You must've be Y/n" the girl says "my name is Katrina, but you can just call me Kat, like the other does" she say and gives me a friendly smile.

"Well hello Kat, have you seen Sam and Elton? " I ask, "I think Sam is outside, but I don't know about Elton" she replies salting some meat. "Oh, okay thanks" I say and waved at Katrina before walking outside, seeing Sam sitting at the edge of the pool.

"Hey Sam! What are you doing here? " I ask looking at him "so you and Colby are together now, huh? " he say looking down in the pool. "What? You really think I'm dating Colby? I would never! " I started laughing "I don't even remember how, and why I got into his room, I must've been half asleep when I did it"

I paused "your not jealous, are you? " I say smirking at him "WHAT! Me jealous? Pfft! Of course I'm not" he say, looking at me with laughter in his eyes, I hug him, "Sam? What would you say if I dated one of the roommates? " I ask him pulling away from the hug "well... I would be happy for you. Why? " he answers.

"Oh just asking" I got up, "c'mon, I think Kat is done with the food! " I take Sam's hand and run inside. Seeing Colby in the living room, I wave at him and walks in the kitchen where Devyn and Kat is talking. "So Y/n, it must be Jake or Colby" Devyn says out of nowhere.

"What are you talking about Devyn? " I look at her confused, "stop playing dumb, we know you have a crush on one of them" she says "Haha Devyn, I don't have a crush on any of them, they are just friends" I say shaking my head, "just friends? " asks Colby walking into the room, we all looks at him.

He walked over to me pinning me to the wall, and whispers into my ear "you sure about that, beauty? " stood there stunned, and my face red with embarrassment. "Colby what are you doing?! " I whisper back, I see from behind Colby that Katrina and Devyn walks out. Colby laughed shortly and took a step back.

I look at him, he smiled and walked out, I just stood there like a complete idiot, trying to figure out what just happened, "just friends Y/n? " says Kat and laughs. Again my face turned red with embarrassment "oh shut up Katrina" I say looking down "But seriously, what just happened? " asked Devyn, and we began laughing.

At the dinner table, I saw Sam and Jake and a bit Aaron looking sad, I wondered what happened now. I looked at Elton and Colby, Elton was nearly laughing, and Colby was just smiling. I began eatiny food, not wanting to think more about what was going on.
