22. Nightmare

Y/n's pov:

I woke up, I checked the clock and realized it was almost 3am. Frustratedly, I rubbed my tired eyes, knowing that I wouldn't be able to go back to sleep.

Suddenly, my phone buzzed, and I reached for it to see a message from my dad.

After unlocking my phone, I read the message and felt a chill run down my spine.

He knew where I was and demanded that I go to the mall alone tomorrow, warning me of serious consequences if I didn't comply.

He said he had been watching my every move the past days, it made me feel uneasy.

I felt the feeling I was being watched. I opened my door to look out the hallway to see if anything was there. Nothing.

I looked out my window, to see a man standing outside the gate around the house, he winked, at first I couldn't recognize the person, but when I looked again I saw it was my dad.

My body felt heavy and everything was blurry and everything spun around, I staggered, and fell down on the floor.

I took some deep breaths to calm down. When  I was calmed down I looked outside the window. He was gone. My anxiety raised and my heart beats faster.

Then I heard a weird noise and footsteps, before I could do anything I hear a voice "well, there's my little girl Y/n" I turn around and sees my dad standing behind me.

I was about to scream in fear, but before I could he put his hand on my mouth, he pins me to the wall and whispers in my ear: "you're a dead person if you say anything to your friends"

A tear went down my cheeks, and he seemed to enjoy my fear. I was shaking crazily, everything got more black, he let me go, and left, u fell down and tried to lean up my bed, I curled up at my bed.

I've must've fallen asleep, because it was light outside when I opened my eyes, my cheeks was still wet from the night, guess I've been crying the whole night.

I was still shaking, but not as much as in the night. I hear a knock on the door, but I didn't say anything, I hear another one, I hummed as a reply someone came in, but my brain was gone from the reality at the moment.

They took their hand on my shoulder, but i ignored it. They shaked me a bit hard, and I turned to look at them with blurry eyes. Colby? My face changed into a painful and scared expression.

He shaked me harder but I my mind still wasn't really in the room, his mouth moved but I didn't hear anything, then I felt more eyes on me, with one I get back to reality.

"Y/N! " Colby yelled, I shook my head and looked around the room. They were all there, even Elton. They all looked scared, I realized I was shaking harder than in the night, and I was crying silently.

"Y/n, what's going on?" Ask Colby desperately, I opened my mouth but nothing came out.

Sam sat down beside me and talked to me. I managed to get a word over my lips, "My...dad" it was so silent you could barely hear it.

Sam's faces changed immediately, I looked down at the floor, Sam forced me to look at him, he had a serious expression on.

"How do you know? " he asked, I showed him the text on my phone, I took a deep breath. "He... He came in here... " I started, "was he in your room? " asked Sam, I nodded, Sam's faces got filled with fear.

The others had followed the conversation quietly, until Jake asked: "who's been where? " Sam looked up at him, "Y/n has some problems with her dad. " he looked at me, with a asking faces, I nodded and he turned his head to the others.

"He have abused her, torture, etc. She was able to escape, and Alice helped her getting him arrested, but apparently the police don't see a reason to keep him in jail anymore. " he said, holding a short break.

"And as Y/n just told me, he got in our house, and into her room" he said in a dark tone.

Jake turned his gaze at me, "did he do something to you? " he asked with a horrified look on his face.

I hesitated, "nothing else as a threat" I replied slowly. Colby lent out his hand, so I could grap it, I took it, and he got me up to stand.

"What did he say to you Y/n? " Asked Corey. I told them, and they all shivered "and I don't know what will happen  if I don't show up. " I added "we'll be there, we will make sure that he won't hurt you, and he won't spot us. If anything happen we will come to the rescue" said Sam.

After that, they planned the plan better, I got in my car, and started it, Sam and Colby walked over to me, and I rolled down the window "be careful Y/n, and remember we will be watching the situation, and come if anything happens, we won't be long away" said Sam trying to calm me down.

Colby stayed silent but he gave a worried smile, and patted my head gently. I drove out towards the mall, the others will drive after me in five minutes, so it wouldn't look too suspicious.

I arrived at the mall, before I got out my car, I took some deep breaths, I had also brought some anxiety pills, so I could have more control.

I walked out, and headed to the front of the mall, not long after my dad stood behind me. "Ah, you came, not that I thought you wouldn't" he said standing in the shadow of the building.

He grapped my hand, and pulled me over to his car, I tried to let go, but he just holder tighter or raised  his hand as a warning for slapping me.

I slowly realize we got more and more attention from the people around us. A man stepped in front of my dad, and asked what he was doing, he saw my horrified look.

The man tried to let my dad go of me, but me dad pushed him away, meanwhile a crowd had gathered around us, people was telling my dad to stop, or they'll call the police.

My dad pulled me close into him, the man tried to get him away from me again, but my dad kicked him to the ground, and kept kicking him.

People got angry and walked towards him, he yelled at them, if they didn't step back, he would stomp on my head, some stepped back, and others stopped where they were.

My dad punched me in the stomach, so I fell on the ground, he looked around the crowd, and kicked me to lay down on the ground, and then he stomped hard on my stomach, I coughed and I felt the blood in my mouth, and saw some blood came out my mouth when I coughed.

He stomped on me again, and this time I coughed way more blood out, I layed on the side, so I wouldn't choke in my blood. He then started kicking me like a crazy, people was horrified.

I heard someone running, and the crowd made a little path, then Sam, Colby, Jake and Corey came in the middle of the circle of people. "Sam" I whispered, but unf my dad heard it.

"Ah, these are your friends? I seem to recognize them now" he said, then he turned to them and yelled: "if you get one step closer, I'll step on her face! " Sam instantly reached his hand out.

Then I heard screams, and a painfull feeling, and then everything went black.
