13. new life

Y/n's pov:

I packed out, in my new room in Alice's house. When I had just finished Alice called me out in the living room.

"Do you mind telling me now, what happened" she says crossing her arms, I sighed and took a deep breath "I guess it's time for you to know... " I sat down in the couch and Alice sat beside me.

As I slowly begin explaining the story, I see how concentrated Alice was. When I had finished the story Alice looked thoughtful and stayed silent for some time, before she spoke.

"Y/n...Alcohol is terrible. It can be addicting, especially if you get to much of it... And if you drink too much of it, for example, if you drink it daily, it can end up you have to drink it to survive. " she paused for a second.

"But yeah, it can taste good. As you know many people drink it to forget, mistakes or not to feel pain -heart broken-  but it's good when you throw a party. But... Again if you drink too much of it you will get weird, you won't know really what happens around you. "

Alice took another short break. Then she looked at me, and spoke again "you know Colby right? " I nod "then you surely know, he would never do that to  you. He surely got too much to drink that night. " I thought for a moment. Alice was right, Colby had gotten too much to drink.

"I do understand why you reacted like you did, I would have done the same. But remember, Alcohol can change people, even good people, some get to much of it and do things they wouldn't have done if they hadn't got so much of It. And some... Gets addicted to it. "

"Thank you Alice, I feel better now" she hugs me. "Now let's have some fun! "

Colby's pov:

I slowly wake up, with a heavy headache. Not remembering anything from last might. After laying in my bed, my door get slammed open, I jump up in shock, and sees Sam walking in and slamming the door closed. "Yo Sam? What are you doing? " I ask slowly walking towards him.

All of a sudden Sam graps a book and throws it at me, luckily he misses "SAM! WHAT THE FUCK?? " I take a step back, looking at a angry and hurted Sam. "She's fucking GONE! AND IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT! " he yells at me.

"Wha- what are you talking about? " Sam walking threatening forwards to me, "it's. All. Your. FUCKING. Fault! " looking confused and scared seeing at Sam approaching. "Sam I don't know what you're fucking talking about! "

"Y/n's gone Colby! Because of you! " seeing Sam hurt, and flashes from. Last night, I understood what I had done. Sam was close to me now, tears running
Down his face, he tried to slap me, but instead he called into my arms crying.

I sat on the floor with Sam crying in my arms. He was breaking down...

"I'm so, so, so sorry Sam... " I whisper to him.  Then my door opens and I see Aaron sending a questioning look, and I give him a; not-now look. He understood it, and left.

"I hate you Colby. " I hear Sam whisper "I understand, there's a good reason to. " I replied to Sam. 

Sam had calmed down and was gone, Jake comes into my room "hey, Colby
... I saw this on Y/n's bed, as he have made one to all of us, here's yours" he throws a letter to me. "Thanks Jake" he nods and leaves the room.

I open the letter and begin to read

Dear Colby.
I know all this shit that have been happening. And I know you would have never done it, if you weren't drunk... The party is tomorrow and, I hope you'll have a great time. You have been a true friend, and I'm glad I have met you. And I'm sorry if I have hurted your feelings, but you've got to understand that I'm kinda scared to get into a new relationship. My last one was abusive and toxic, you are a lovely friend, and one day you'll find one. Life is never easy, but you have your family and your friends support, when life gets tough

You are loved. And I care about you.

Reading the letter I felt tears pressing on, then in the end, I let them roll down my cheeks. "I love you Y/n" I whisper. I opened my door, hearing someone cry from Jake's room.

I walk in and see him reading a letter, he looked up with wet eye's "she knows how to do it emotional" I laugh, through the tears. "I'm gonna miss her" Jake says "I think we all will.. "

Y/n's pov:

Me and Alice had a great time, we had Watched many movies, baked cookies, taking a walk, playing games and just chattes. And for somehow a week had already passed, I kept getting calls and messages from my old room mates. But I kept ignoring them.

I was walking in the city, looking at people, until I see that one face. It began blacking out for a moment, but I shaked my head. I called Alice with shaky hands "Alice, Alice! "

"What's wrong Y/n? " "Alice! You said my dad was I jail right? " "yeah... Wait
.. " she was silent for some time "then why do I see him here! " I say, with a shaky voice "Y/n take some deep breaths, and keep walking" she says "I'll call my dad and ask him what he's doing out of jail"

She says, and then she was gone. I started walking, not knowing where I was going, I was just walking, and listening to my f/s (favorite song) walking and walking. Still haven't gotten an answer from Alice.

Hours had passed and twilight had come, and I was still walking and waiting for a answer

Then I see past some trees, is laying an abandoned barn.
