"Wow your life is really interesting" Lismery chuckled.

"Yeah, I guess" I smiled.

"I have a question" she said.

"Ask away"

"Do your parents like your friends?" she asked.

"I mean yeah. My dad doesn't really pay attention though" I answered.

"Oh, so whenever me and Bri meet him, he won't pay attention to us" she sounded relieved.

"Well..." I looked away.

"What?" she said in a worry tone.

"I...might of...sort of...kind of...already told him about y'all, especially you" I hesitated.

"ALVAH" she yelled.

"I'M SORRY" I yelled back.

"Why did you tell him?" she asked angrily.

"I was just ranting about my day...you know" I chuckled softly.

"I- don't know what to say" she said.

"I'm sorry" I looked down.

*Ring*

"What the fuck! Again?" I was annoyed. Why are people calling me?"

"You really hate people calling you huh?" Lismery laughed.

"Yes, it's annoying"

"Hello"

"Hey...Alvah"

"What the fuck? Why are you calling me from a different number?"

"I-I need your help"

"Funny how you think I'm going to help you"

"Alvah please"

"Why do you need my help?"

"Because they're following me"

"They're? Who?"

"Anderson and his friends"

"And that's my problem how exactly?"

"Was that Aaliyah?" Lismery asked.

"Yeah" I said annoyed.

"Why did she need your help?" she asked.

"I don't know something about Anderson and his friends following her" I shrugged.

"The fuck" she made a face.

"Yeah, I don't know" I shrugged again.

Why the fuck would she need my help? And with Anderson and his friends, she's never been scared of them before. So, why is she scared now?

Something isn't right. I gotta make a call. I got up from the bed.

"Hey I need a favor" I walked out the room.
