Blackness. That's all I remember. Then a voice saying, "it is time." That's when I felt I could open my eyes. When I opened my eyes, I was met with a large, red, statue in front of me. I was surrounded by other people. Everybody else immediately stood up, so I quickly followed their actions. Then, it all seemed to fall into place for me, like it was a routine, and I walked towards the outside walls of the room we were in and faced towards the center. My suit started materializing over my body, starting at my chest and spanning out from there. My suit was a nice gold and black color, a large V-neck down the main part of my suit with a golden overcoat with no sleeves. My normal sleeves were also golden, fading to black on my gloves. My pants were black, and so were my boots, the tops lined with gold. The collar of my suit was black with golden lines striping it.

Everyone else's suit did the same. It was honestly quite beautiful. We were allowed to look around while we waited for our arrival. I walked over to one of the many windows in the room, staring out of it, looking at the vast void of space. I could feel the vibrations of the ship, that we were moving at such fast speeds, even for space time. I placed my hand on the window. The window reacted by glowing gold with circles where my hand was placed. I pulled my hand away in fascination, and the circles of gold faded. As I fixed my gaze out past the window again, I saw it.

Our mission.

Our goal.

The planet was quite beautiful, if I do say so myself. The blues and greens make a beautiful canvas for what could be and what it would be in the future. I smile a tiny bit, before feeling the vibrations of someone, or two people, walking up to me. I let my smile drop, keeping a neutral expression. I quickly turned before they could fully reach my side, shocking them. It was one of the men from before, along with a woman. The woman waved to me, before she started signing.

"Hello there. I'm Makkari. This is Druig. We'd thought we'd join you over here to look. Is that alright?" The woman-Makkari-asked her smile never dropping. She seemed sweet, while the boy next to her-Druig-seemed to be closed off. I looked between them for a second.

"Yes, you may join me. I'm Aya." I signed back, surprised that I understood her and that I could sign as well. I must have learned it long ago, but can't remember. I turn back around, to the window, and the two join my side on the right. I gesture towards the planet then turn towards Makkari. "It's beautiful, isn't it?" I ask, a tiny smile on my face once again.

She nods. "Quite." She signs, before turning back to look.
