Everyone was walking around the room, looking at everything that Aya and Makkari had placed in that room over the centuries. Thena was messing around with a blade while Sprite was looking at scrolls. Kingo and Makkari were talking about what was going to happen, Ikaris was looking at the Emerald Tablet that Aya had stolen, Druig was looking for food, Phastos was working on creating something, and Aya was watching him, tossing out ideas here and there. Druig found a box of Twinkies, and as he walked around a large stack of books, he saw Ikaris looking at the Emerald Tablet. They shared a look, and quickly traded items, Druig walking away to find Aya as Ikaris dug into the Twinkies.
Kingo now stood beside Phastos as he worked, and Aya was where she was before but now just staring off into space, favoring her right side. Druig walked up beside her, causing her to snap out of it, and back into reality. She pivoted towards the man and instantly grinned when she saw what he was holding. "So, how did you end up scoring this Emerald Tablet, my gorgeous Aya?" He asked, and Aya made a grab for it, but he jerked it out of her reach. Once she settled back again, and he was holding it in front of her, she used her speed to grab it from him. She grinned as his face was one of shock, now that his hands were empty. He shakes his head, a grin slipping onto his lips. "Sneaky, Aya." She laughed, hugging the tablet close. Phastos and Kingo looked at them with looks of disgust.
"I'm sorry, what are we watching? Because this..." Phastos began, and Kingo finished for him.
"Is this new? Are you two...Because I hate it." Aya shook her head at their child-like actions, and Druig took a step forward, bringing Aya with him. Everyone gathered around in a circle.
"Phastos, I need to control the mind of a Celestial." Druig said.
Phastos sighed. "Okay." He started doing some gestures then said, "Get ready for it." Bracelets. That's what it looked like to Aya, at least. It seemed Kingo had the same train of thought as her.
"Bracelets?" Kingo asked, sounding disappointed. "You made us bracelets?" Phastos shook his head.
"So, here's a little Celestial 101. Celestials are the most powerful energy generators in the universe. When Arishem made us, he imbued us with infinite cosmic energy to keep our bodies regenerating. The bracelets, in theory, shut down our regeneration process. And once that happens, our bodies accumulate extra cosmic energy." As he was talking Druig nudged Aya a little causing her to turn to give him a little smile, and he nudged her again. She hit his arm, silently telling him to stop, and he smiled at her. "What for? Well, if the Deviants can absorb our energy, what if we can absorb each other's energy as well? If I can find a way to connect us all, one of us could become immensely powerful, pulling the accumulated energy from the rest, forming..." He makes more gestures and in the air it looks like a floating brain with multiple people connected to it. "A Uni-mind." he finishes, clapping his hands, expecting some grand response. All he got was dead silence. Well, and Aya's nod of approval. He tried to elaborate further. "'Uni' meaning 'one', 'mind' meaning 'mind'."
"Oh no, we heard you the first time." Kingo said.
"Terrible name." Sprite added on.
"We'll brainstorm--" Kingo pauses. "'Brainstorm'! That's a way better name!"
"No, I invented it, so I'm calling it whatever I want." Phastos argued back.
Aya noticed Makkari trying to get everyone's attention. "Hey!" She shouted. They all stopped arguing, then she pointed towards Makkari, who looked towards her with a thankful look.
"So suppose Druig can, say...put Tiamut to sleep. Then what?" Makkari asked.
"We find humans a new home on another planet." Sersi said, ever the optimist.
