I blindly walked through the labyrinth of hallways, blindly following the guard wearing a green-lensed ACOG scope over their eyes. We'd pass by other guards stationed outside a room; sometimes even people with white lab coats walking by. My heart was pounding, never at ease in places like this. I looked up at the guard after gaining some courage: "So where are we going right now?" I asked.
They just continued walking, not even looking over at me. Rude.
