LUNA CLARABELLE

CHAPTER ONE

Luna Clarabelle's POV

"I emptied your schedule for next week for you to have a rest." Dwayne said, he has been my closest person in this world so far.

For the past weeks, I have been busy doing  rehearsal at wala pa talaga akong pahinga. So I'm a little bit thankful for his generosity.

"Okay, thank you" I replied shortly.

Tumingin ako sa labas ng kotse, malakas ang patak ng ulan kaya hindi ko masyadong  ma-aninag ang nasa labas, pero nakikita ko ng malinaw ang buwan. It was a full moon.

In Astrid, full moon is a rare sight to see. We only get to see it once in every four years. And every time I see it, it always reminds me of the happenings eight years ago.

"Meeting adjourned." I said and then I exited the meeting room.

Mabilis ang hakbang ng mga paa ko habang papalapit sa elevator. I need to hurry or else I'll lose everything.

"What's my next schedule?" Tanong ko sa secretary ko na nakasunod sa likuran ko.

"You have an appointment with Dr. Santillian at 1pm then a family dinner at six o'clock ma'am." Sheena replied.

"Is that so? Cancel the appointment with him, I have something more important to do. Move it for tomorrow"

Mas binilisan ko ang paghakbang ko, I need to stop that person before it's too late.

"But we can't possibly do that-"

"No buts! Just do what I say!! And don't follow me!"  Saktong bumukas ang elevator pagkatapos Kong sabihin yun.

If that person manage to give the documents to my foster parents, I'll be dead by the next morning. I can't let it happen, I worked so hard to gain what I have now. I won't let anyone take everything away from me.

Pagkarating ko ng parking lot agad akong pumasok sa kotse ko. I hurriedly started the engine then drove fastly towards the exit.

"I hope I'm not too late." I whispered.

Mas binilisan ko pa ang takbo ng kotse ko, it already reached it's maximum limit but I don't care. I need to go home real quick!

My foster parents would certainly get furious once they got that documents, and the worst situation that could ever happened is that, they might send an assassin to kill me.

I'm pretty sure they already suspected me for the sudden raid and tax investigation na naganap last week.

Tama sila don, I was the one who gives the police a tip. And those documents I'm talking about? It's the list of government officials they bribe para matakpan ang mga crimen na ginawa nila.

Aside from that, it also contains the information about their corruption, illegal trading, kidnapping, and thier other illegal doings.

Once they confirmed that I was the one who betrayed them, I know for sure they won't hesitate to kill me.

I can't let that happen, I still need to take my revenge. I need to bring that family down!

"For once destiny, be on my side." I whispered.
