lalisa manoban (blackpink)

-

"Ma'am, I'm going to need you to move aside. We're here to investigate a reported crime at this residence," Lalisa barked at the woman who stood in the corridor of her own home. The woman was barely visible due to the time of night. Lalisa pulled out her flashlight to get a better view of the woman and turned it on. The woman had been of shorter stature and had (h/c) hair that had been messily displayed. A rusty rouge color covered most parts of the woman's body as Lalisa had two ideas pop into mind. Is that her blood or someone else's? In an attempt to recompose herself, Lalisa cleared her throat and mind before she continued to interrogate the woman that stood before her.

"Are you," Lalisa paused, she never had to ask someone this before as most crimes she came across weren't as severe. "Are you covered in blood?" She continued, and the words flew out with hints of hesitance. The woman stared at Lalisa in shock as if she couldn't comprehend the question. "Listen, if you won't cooperate now, we can detain you and bring you back to the police department and question you there," Lisa's tone became cold as she began to get frustrated. "Did the operators not tell you what the report was about?" The woman quietly spoke up, her voice fragile as if it were to break under too much pressure. "No, they were adamant that we get here as quickly as possible."

A sigh left the woman's mouth and she stepped outside of her home. Lisa closely watched the woman as she made her way toward a bench that sat on her front porch. The woman sat down and motioned for Lalisa to sit next to her by patting the open seat. Lalisa cautiously sat down, her eyes, she couldn't force herself to blink as her eyes were glued to the possible suspect. "Someone broke into my home and luckily, I was awake to confront the man," The woman started, her eyes glazed over with tears as she recalled the memory only moments before Lisa's arrival. "When I did go to confront him, he groped and held me tightly against my will. After that, I think my fight-or-flight took over and everything else was a blur."

"Did you kill him?" Lalisa reached over to take the woman's hand into her own, a poor attempt to assure the woman that everything would be okay. "I think so, I remember reaching over to my knife block and stabbing something hard behind me," The woman explained, her lips quivering as she recalled the moments she killed someone. The tears that glazed her eyes finally fell from them as the woman looked down at her lap. "Am I going to get charged with manslaughter?"

"No, we'll make sure that doesn't happen. You did your best to protect yourself in a situation that was extremely traumatizing and you followed your instincts," Lalisa reassured the woman as she let go of her hand. "Do you mind if I assess what happened," She paused to catch the woman's name, "(Y/n)." The woman briefly intervened, "and I don't mind." Lisa nodded, stood from the bench, and made her way into the home. The smell of iron overwhelmed Lisa's senses as her eyes scanned the area. According to her story, it sounded like most of this occurred in the kitchen, Lisa recalled what (Y/n) had told her when getting briefed on what happened.

Lisa turned the corner and carefully made her way into the kitchen. There he was, his body lay sprawled out on the floor, and his eyes rolled into the back of his head. The story seems to line up so far, Lalisa noted the scene that lay in front of her, blood slowly oozing out from underneath the man. She pulled out some latex gloves from her police duty belt and inserted her fingers into their assigned finger-holes. Gently, Lisa lifted the man a couple of centimeters to assess the wound. There had been no signs of a knife, yet somehow this man had a deep stab wound to his side. Lisa set the man down and checked one of his pulse points on the neck to confirm that he was dead.
