lia had made it on set for the first ever rehearsal of generation loss episode one.

she was originally going to the table read but regretful plans with her and her ex had gotten in the way. she was there now, though.

she tied up her red hair, slicking it back with a hair tie. lia thought if tying it into a bun but she could fidget with it later. she also wore complete black attire.

walking into the abandoned mall, lia took it all in. she smelt the fresh air that didn't fit the look of it. everything in surprisingly good shape, even though it was abandoned.

the whole look of the place was much more polished than she thought. some crew had probably fixed it up a little.

look around for the stairs, convinced she would have to call someone to help, she finally found an escalator. it gave her a work out.

looking to the railing, something big had stood out to her.

a big poster with the logo for showfall media. it was absolutely stunning and lia couldn't fathom it.

"it looks great, doesn't it?" she turned to see sneeg and she had to hug her half-brother.

"dude, i didn't realise you would be here. it's been so long."

"i was invited to work on generation loss. you were too?" lia looked up and laughed, "what?"

"i'm co-director."

when she said that, sneeg immediately smiled. "you're who ran wanted me to meet?" he gasped. "oh my god."

"you didn't know?" she asked as the two started to make their way over.

"i do now."

lia grinned as she got her script from her bag. the two made their way to the set of the first episode and lia had stars in her eyes.

"wow..." she smiled and sneeg side hugged her, "i can't believe i'm here. it's super surreal."

lia and sneeg had split off as lia just stood there, admiring the set for the spirits of the cabin.

the spirits, of course, being her and slimecicle.

walking up to where her headband would be, she turned to see someone wearing horns as well.

"you're lia, right?" he asks. his glasses, as the first thing she noticed, were pretty rectangular and she immediately felt the world go a little more quiet. "you must be my goopy second."

she laughed at the choice of words, "i absolutely am. you must be the charlie slimecicle i've been seeing on my twitter timeline recently." looking at the way he presented himself, it was beyond neat. he had a fringe and lia liked guys with fringes.

"i'm so well known and famous, i'm not surprised by that at all." charlie laughed, doing a hero stance, "i love your hair, by the way. it's really cool. i like people with red hair."

lia smiled, now noticeably playing with it.

she didn't realise charlie was flirting with her but she did thank him.

"thank you charlie."

lia and charlie made brief conversation and they started jokingly going through lines together.

"and, yknow, maybe it's not a bad idea to let him c-" lia smiled.

charlie looked at his line and rolled his eyes, "let's him cook!!"

it wasn't even remotely funny but lia was laughing hard at the way charlie had spoke. his line expression was brilliant.

lia smirked, "you're a really good actor." "how would you even know that?" he smirked back.

lia shrugged. "i don't know just yet, but when all is said and done, you'll be the most magnetic one on screen."

she walked off after the flirt attempt as she sipped her water and charlie stood there like an npc waiting for his next cue.

he blushed and hard.

"right, let's get rehearsals underway!" ranboo called.

it was lia and ranboo's time to shine as directors.

as they all began acting out the first small steps of the episode, lia was catching a glance at charlie every so often.

then it was her entrance with charlie and she jumped on his back.

"right, so, if i jump on your back, that's how we make our entrance." she said, rambling a little.

"sounds great." he smiled. "you ready to try it?" lia looked up.

as she nodded, charlie ducked down. she climbed on his back and the headband fell off her head. this caused her to gasp as it lightly bashed charlie's head.

turning to the camera, she laughed. "i'm so sorry about that. i think i might need a bit of a tighter head band." ranboo couldn't keep his laugh in, neither could charlie.

"right, maybe it's best if you don't have the horns? something can be done about that?" ranboo asked.

lia nodded, "great idea. let's run through the entrance again?"

as ranboo did his line to trigger the two, they burst through the imaginary door, which was currently just a frame, and fake applause came through.

"boo bitch!" charlie grinned, reading from the page from her script. lia recites her line, "who's this goopy guy coming round our neck of the cabin?"

"he doesn't seem very goopy." charlie says and lia looks to him.

"we could make him goopy?"

as the rehearsal had finished with ranboo serving lia and charlie a bowl of nothing, which would soon be slime and other things, the two directors stopped rehearsal there and lia went over to costumes to get the headband correct.

"mind if i join ya?" charlie asked. lia turned.

"you have a costume to fix?" "just want to waste a bit of time before dinner with everyone."

the costume people finished with lia and sent her to do whatever she pleased. lia got her things, put them in her shoulder bag, then looked to charlie.

"we have a few hours to kill. rehearsal actually let off more quick than ran and i intended. wanna do something?"

charlie slipped his bag on before checking the time. "i'm due for a stream in like twenty minutes. do you wanna come to mine?"

"your fans would be fine with me being in your stream?" "they'll love you. they'll be seeing you in gen loss so why not introduce you to them?"

it's not the worst thing in the world, lia thought.

charlie was still looking at lia and she realised she need to say something.

"let's do it."
