lia rubbed her eyes as she looked around at the fresh day.
looking to her side table, she smiled at the look of no notifications.
her phone then, as if on cue, buzzed with a text from ranboo.
is it possible if you could come in today? run a few lines with charlie and i?
lia responded back positively and got dressed into comfortable clothes. looking around, she went into her bathroom to brush her teeth and put makeup on, then got a fresh bottle of water before driving to set.
the same abandoned mall had greeted her and she smiled at the new familiarity of it.
the graffiti was old or new, lia couldn't recall. yet she had been here when ranboo and her first toured it.
lia had done everything gen loss related with ranboo. they had a really special friendship and it was something she would never try to rid.
"hello?" the ginger yelled out, causing an echo.
it rung around and lia continued her venture to the cabin's set.
"ran, charlie!" she smiled, hands cupped. "you wanted me to run some lines with y'all?"
charlie had jumped, not expecting the pop-up.
"do you have your script on you?" ranboo asked.
lia searched her shoulder bag and faltered. "i actually do not. is that going to be a problem?" "we can share? we share all our scenes except for a few together." charlie tilted his head, as if offering.
"that... would be lovely." lia smiled. ranboo instantly realised before the two did that there was something going on.
the three began and lia and charlie awaited ranboos cue.
"could i suggest something?" lia asked.
the two looked at her and she smiled, "charlie and i are both going to be extremely sticky, right? what if we walked in arm in arm instead of me piggybacking him? it would make the runtime smoother and would cause for a much more timely comedic effect?"
ranboo liked that idea so they jotted it down in both the scripts and the whiteboard just from the cabin. lia made a note in her notes app, so she wouldn't forget to write it down.
"boo bitch!"
for lunch, ranboo had organized something with sneeg so lia turned to charlie in curiosity, "would you like to get lunch with me?" taking her bottle from her bag, ranboo told the two that rehearsals would cease for the day.
"i would really enjoy that." his smile was more than genuine.
"oh, sweet. any suggestions on where we could eat?" lia walked down the escalator, charlie on her trail.
"i'm not fussy. i could even do with some fast food." "sounds delightful, char."
charlie stood for a second, as still as the air, "char?" lia looked back and up at the man halfway down the escalator, "did you just call me char?"
"what?" she asked, "oh, i didn't even realise i said that." lia almost facepalmed, "sorry."
charlie walked next to her, "no problemo." "okay, spanish king, slay."
they both shared a small laugh. "i know, like, the bare minimum of spanish, which is funny in the context that i'm on an smp that has spanish speakers." "oh damn. what's an smp?"
charlie was almost shocked, yet remained calm, "a survival multiplayer." "oh, like minecraft?" "yeah, exactly!" "oh shit, that's what you were playing when i was there?"
charlie nodded and lia chuckled at the memory of his stream.
they now stood at lia's car and charlie looked down, "can i spark an idea?" "go ahead." lia smiled.
"we get lunch and then come back to mine to practice some lines?" lia looked at charlie, leaning on her corolla. his grin spoke a thousand words.
"yeah, that would be good. where do we want to eat." "jack in the box, maybe? unless you were thinking of somewhere else, of course." charlie suggested, lia liking whatever was suggested to her.
she nodded, jingling her car keys, "sounds great. did you uber here or-" "yeah, i could use a ride?" "absolutely, you can." she smiled as charlie walked around to his side, awaiting the familiar click that opened the car door.
the two got seated and lia slid her phone in the cup holder to her right. "play some music if you'd like. anything is fine as long as it's something."
charlie stuck on beebadoobee. the glue song softly pattered through the speakers and the ride was silent.
"what would you like?" lia turned to charlie very briefly. "i'm fine with anything." "do we want the fan faves?" lia nodded, "can i also grab a coke zero?"
"yeah absolutely. i'll order it now."
one order and payment later, the two began to charlie's. lia sipped on her fuze iced tea.
"you're right to park in the driveway." charlie mindlessly said as lia braked the car.
finn speaks
see i don't have jack in the box in australia so i just chose a random food for them
