"your place is so cool." lia smiled. "i love it."
charlie blushed. "i try." "you try." she repeated back to him.
"look, let's stream?" lia turned to him, sensing some tension.
"hang on, let me do something. show me your hand."
the two sat down and lia took his hand, outstretched. she sighed with content before relieving all the strained muscles, repeating the action with his other.
"you were tensing your hands. you're nervous, charlie." "why- what?"
"it's a long story on how i knew but i don't know, i could sense it. the air felt tense."
she, then, started talking about something off topic and charlie was just staring. not in a creepy way or anything but with his head on his hand, it was clear something was there.
it had only been less than a day aswell.
"stream time?" she asked. charlie snapped out of the zone and he walked to the kitchen first. "where are you going?"
"would you like a drink or a snack?" lia looked up to charlie, who was leaning over his fridge, looking straight at her.
she stood up and walked over, leaning against the kitchens bench. "what do you have?"
as she smiled, lia let her hair loose. it fell on her shoulders, just above her chest. charlie watched her and continued to until lia's phone took both back to reality.
she looked at the notifications but it was a game notification. "sorry, fucking game alerts."
"right. yeah, um, there's water, cola, lemonade and sweet tea. there's also a batch of koolaid i made a few days ago."
"ooh, what flavour?" lia was intrigued.
charlie looked at the little label he wrote, "pink lemonade, it's a favourite." "that's my favourite flavour aswell."
the two bonded a little more over that.
two poured glasses of koolaid later and lia decided she would just sit out on the stream and watch charlie do his thing.
when charlie streamed, that entire time, he was in his element. it was clear, by lia's standards, that he loved what he did for a job.
he was also particularly really good at it.
even if it was on a minecraft server, doing roleplay with eggs.
she could see why ranboo chose him as a big part of generation loss. he was an amazing actor and it was clear how much passion he really had for it.
if he wanted to act in movies, that would be a possibility but if he didn't, he would still have a fantastic job laid infront of him.
so as lia took her cup to the kitchen sink to pour more koolaid into, she wondered why she was already feeling things for charlie.
