GUYS IM SO SORRY THAT THIS CHAPTER IS SO SHORT I CANT WRITE MMJ MEMBERS TO SAVE MY LIFE </3 enjoy anyways...."Okay, so you just pull this back, and then-" your sentence was cut-off by you accidently letting go of the bow string, launching the arrow to the target in front of you. Well, that's where it was supposed to go. It actually ended up hitting the protective layer that was there so the wall wouldn't get damaged. You sighed. "I can't do this!"
Shizuku laughed. "Of course you can! It takes practice."
Your face heated up slightly due to her carefree laugh. "Ah, well.. I guess I could try a couple more times."
Shizuku cheered quietly and clapped her hands, wearing a closed eyed smile. You shook your head affectionately, slightly smiling. Your hands already hurt just thinking about trying to keep the arrow pulled back.
After trying a couple more times, you were on the verge of giving up. You hadn't hit the target even once. You were starting to get extremely frustrated. You felt Shizuku's hand on your shoulder. Your hands were extremely shaky.
She had a worried look on her face. "I'm sorry... if this is making you frustrated, you don't have to keep trying."
Your hands began to shake more, but you sighed and lowered the bow and arrow. "It's.. alright. It's not your fault. I'm the one who came here and volunteered to try this. I'll take a small break and try again later, and if I still can't do it, archery is just.. not for me." You chuckled awkwardly.
She smiled slightly. "Okay, that's alright... thanks for trying it out. It makes me happy to see you try out new things."
You blushed slightly. You weren't great at archery, but you were willing to break a few fingers just to see Shizuku smile at you like that again.
