Ben P.O.V
Ben's eyes focused on her pale bruised arms, He was truly worried about her condition yet had to fight the troubling thought of practically skipping 6th hour to take her here. But really now, any bone head administrator could understand that Algebra had to wait, she clearly needed medical attention.
Ben shook the thought from his mind and watched as Bella pulled out her scarlet sketch book. He leaned over her sketch book, getting both a great view of the drawings but an unintentional view through the front end of her shirt, god how he hated how distractingly low the shirt collar sat. In her defense she was held up against a wall leaving her shirt to be victim to stretching out. He quickly focused on the sketches, his cheeks all ready rosy. "I love your drawings Bella" He smiled when he spoke, and noticed her look of appreciation and her low voice happened to purr out with a hidden excitement. "Thanks, just a little hobby of mine." This girl just got better and better, from that elegantly placed sburb logo on her messenger bag, to her detailed and unfinished sketches that he simply adored.
Bella's P.O.V
As shy as she was she yearned to know more about him, it had been a good long time since she actually wanted friends. But to be truly honest no one here was either friendly or her nerdy type, and many misinterpreted this, thinking of her to be a boring straight A student. When really she had quite the full character to share with the vague few she selected. After being such an embarrassment in her previous schools she's mastered her perfectly timed short leak of personality only when needed to pin point those she'd naturally get along with. Yet, this failed and left her to only a small group of outcasts in which she loved to death. She continued to finish the complex strands of Link's golden brown hair waving in the invisible wind upon the page of the notebook.
He had a few rebellious strands of golden hair tucked behind his ears, which by the looks of it were a little longer and just a tad bit pointer than hers. That was always one of her favorite qualities, the free twitchability of her point elfy ears. But they had only a minor comparison to that of an elf, his on the other hand, had a nice rounded.. Skyward Sword Link's ears look, mostly because this Link of all the games had the least unnatural of ear lengths. She chuckles, slightly jealous of his hylian-like ears, however this does raise her suspicions of him, but honestly, if he were some kind of figment of her imagination, then there would obviously be some other major reality issues. Ones that will forever remain nameless. Out of the corner of her eye she observes him slinging his royal violet jansport bag over to his lap, she neglects to notice the corners of her lips curl into a smile when she inspects the array of zodiacs hand drawn in sharpie across the front of it. He rummages through his semi neat book bag to pull out a folder over flowing with sketches. It was as if he literally drew where he pleased before tearing it from its original piece and shoving it in here. Ben zips the bag and hands the folder to her as he spoke in his already familiarizing voice. "I've got a few of my own sketches in this cluster fuck of a folder if you wanna see" She gives a half chuckle before gripping the mess of art and gently shutting hers. As she gently flips through the pages she finds each sketch to be near perfect in alignment and anatomy, well the first couple pages that is. It appears the farther she goes the sloppier the figures get, judging by this they're probably in dated order to view his progress. A majority of these were a few anonymous Creepypastas, these new scary web killers going around online, they were growing quite popular lately. She internally grunts, an imaginary signal of aggression towards a growing ache in her right wrist. Bella stop's flipping at a page where half of a Zelda laid sketched out to inspect her wrist. Turning it over she noticed a deep brown blotch of a bruise there, she sucks in through her teeth as she rolls her eyes to ignore this tolerable mishap of pain. She decided it wouldn't matter if she used her bruised wrist its not like she's going to get treatment with the nurse out anyways, she only knows this because of her past after-fifth-hour nurse visits Ms. Gibbons is always gone. Between flipping the book closed at the last few finished drawings, those being an assortment of nintendo characters, the cacophony of bells echoed through the halls to give off the farewell of school hours. ~For once I'm relieved to have not spent the last few hours of my schoolday in band.. Even if that hour past unnaturally fast~ "I hope to see you again sometime, how's before school sound?" Said Ben as he stood up, and just then, of all the times, her "father" burst in with a semi sober thrust, he slammed the door open so violently it hit the wall and bounced back to close itself behind him.
