Hallie's pov
Today seemed like it was going to be a normal day at the cafe I worked at:I was getting good tips,people weren't being assholes,and I didn't once drop a single plate.as I was cleaning a table,I heard the bell ring.I looked up from cleaning,only to smile when I saw my best friend Michael.I had seen him on some newspaper and some photos that were shown on MTV,I can't believe he's the nanny for Kurt Cobain's daughter!(I bet he gets paid better then me)"well well,if it isn't mister celebrity!"I greeted him jokingly,he laughed and hugged me.
"what's it like being his nanny?"I asked,leading me to a small table."it's not too bad,"he said,sitting down."but I have a situation."I tilted my head in confusion,"Go on,what's wrong?"he didn't say anything.I gave him a worried look,"Michael?"I said.he sighed,"I'm...gonna plan something,plan A isn't so bad but...plan B is."he began to explain.I nervously laughed,"Michael,you're starting to freak me out.just,tell me what's going on."I said.he gulped,then took a deep breath.
No one's pov
Michael sat on the couch as he anxiously watched Hallie nervously pace back and forth.he had told her about his plan A and B,which ended up sending them to her apartment."Michael..."she finally spoke,"this is..."she trailed off.she sat down next for him,"I know."he spoke.Hallie knew that Michael was friends with Kurt,and although she fangirled about it a lot she swore she wouldn't tell anyone.but now she knows about the affair,which is now a bigger secret to keep then a measly friendly celebrity friendship.
"Michael...why?"If she was going to be involved,she needed to know everything.he gulped,unsure on if he should tell her about Courtney and her-well let's face it-controlling Kurt like a puppet.he sighed and got up,"ok look,no one else knows about this ok?"she nodded.He proceeded to tell Hallie everything:how Courtney treats Kurt mentally and physically,how everyday he here's them arguing and knows he can't do anything about it,how Frances can't sleep in her own nursery in anymore so now she sleeps in his arms on his bed in the guest room,everything that a reporter would want to know.Hallie's been taking psychology classes for a couple of years now,because she wants to be a therapist/psychologist:so everything she was hearing almost felt like those examples in her classes.
