Today is the court case everyone's been pretty much anticipating:Cobain v. Love
Accompanying Kurt Cobain are his band mates/friends Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic.also with Cobain is his daughter's nanny,Michael Oliver.
Michael's pov
"Look on the bright side,at least it's not being televised."Hallie tried to reassure me.today was Kurt's case,and it was already all over the news."yeah,but this'll just stress him out even more."I pointed out,"he's gonna win anyway Micah,you shouldn't be worrying this much."she said.I sighed,"you're right."I said.she smirked and crossed her arms,"I'm always right."she said confidently.I laughed,"you know,I've been so focused on Kurt and this whole case that I've barely had any time to have a full conversation with you."I pointed out."oh yeah...man I've been so busy helping Kurt out that I've barely talked to you,unless it's about Kurt."i nodded in agreement,"well we have some time to talk."i pointed out.
"Yeah,"she agreed."so what do you wanna know?"she asked,"got any new hobbies?"I asked curiously."oh!Mark got me into photography."she replied,I smiled.ever since she met him at Kurt's party,they've been chatting non-stop.she took out her purse and opened it up,"he wanted me to take some pictures of him,but the camera I have is old so they don't have color."she explained.she took them out and handed them to me,I looked at them."Huh,this is the only picture he's smiling in."i pointed out.she blushed,"yeah,it's cause I told him he should show off that beautiful smile of his."she explained."awww."she blushed even more,"have you guys...been on a date yet?"I asked curiously.
she sighed,"no."she replied.I gave her a concerned look,"Hallie?"she looked at me."I don't wanna get hurt again."she whispered in a shaky voice,I sighed.before I met her,she was in a seriously toxic relationship.he tried to mentally abuse her,but that never worked so he resorted to physically abusing her.he never sexually abused her,thank god,but after she finally broke things off with him she swore off of dating for a while.I remember the day she came to my apartment after she broke up with him,she was so terrified and was shaking like a leaf.she stayed with me until she decided to move out because she,and I quote,"felt like a freeloader".
